We so enjoyed this restaurant the last time we were here that we tried it again - and if anything it was even better. For starters we had a poached egg in a cheese fondue with truffles, absolutely delicious and a crispy octopus salad, perfectly cooked. Main courses were a tender slow cooked pork shin, with wild mushrooms, really succulent... More

It is a lovely place to go for lunch. Service is good and the food, mostly local cuisine, is of high quality, at reasonable price.

We've been at restaurant to have dinner, because when we asked around where to go.. everybody was talking about this place because it's nice, it has local dishes, local beer and local ambiance. Indeed, the local is good located, local ambiance and local dishes, but nothing out of the ordinary. We asked for their signature dish, and I can say... More

Lovely ambiance and decor. Wine list very good but our first choice was not available (funnily enough, most expensive bottle happened to be available)! Chose expensive Italian red, Amarone ("do you know what this is?; have you had it before?" Condescendingly enquired the waitress) to go with the Kobe beef; described by the waitress as very special steak on a... More

Don't ever think all Italian restaurants are all the same - this is really different. It has a really unique take on some traditional Italian dishes of the area eg polenta and presents them in a different way eg fried fingers or a white soft polenta that we had never seen before. The meat is absolutely heavenly and perfectly cooked... More

This restaurant may have ‘Firenze’ in the name, but it’s far from Florence. Found in the mountain resort town of Aprica, in the northern Italian region of Lombardy, wonderful food and service is always guaranteed for any diner. Sample local dishes with local ingredients, although the menu changes each season, depending on the availability of the local produce and also... More

Se in un'ora il tuo tavolo riceve una sola visita dopo l'ordine, l'organizzazione del ristorante è un fallimento. Il ristorante va bene se il servizio non vi importa e se cercate una pizzeria. Details below in English. We asked for a pizza margherita, an item from the children's menu, an appetizer, two main courses, two bottles of water, one bottle... More

It never happend to us before that a restaurant which fancies itself as an a class restaurant charges you for a dish returnd to the kitchen. my wife didn't like the calamary dish & after one small bite told the waittress she can't eat it. The waittres asked her if she would like to change it to another plat, which... More

We ate here twice on our recent trip to aprica. Had pizza on the 1st visit late on a Friday. Excellent pizza large and delicious. For our second visit we both had antipasto ,main and desert. Some of the items were unavailable but what we had was lovely. "Well done" was more "medium "to an English palate. I will certainly... More

We were 3 persons sharing 3 different pizzas from Ristorante Firenze, and all of them were just great. The prosciutto was perfectly salted, the pizza-base thin and crispy and the clearly homemade tomato-sauce added the perfect final touch. With a pizzaria this good, I would have liked to see even more special pizzas instead of just the usual selection.
