Not your mother's Italian restaurant, but delicious, upscale, modern but not nouveau, northern Italian gourmet, very rationally priced, excellent service. We had park-truffle soufflé, zucchini fish ravioli, char, duck, chestnut mouse, and a bottle of valpollicella for €110. Warm hospitality, gracious service, comfortable seating, excellent food. I'd happily drive an hour to get here for dinner.

This little restaurant has a personality all of its own. The staff all wear lovely aprons and are really helpful and informative. Two of us were gluten free, they checked out thoroughly with the kitchen and advised on dishes we could eat. They even had some gluten free bread. The food was really delicious. We shared two mixed plates of... More

One of the best place in Bardolino. Very interesting wine list: valpicello Ernesto Ruffo! Good food, friendly staff

Nice gastro restaurant. The menu list is short, but the quality of dishes are high. The wine list is interesting and long, but it does not focus on local producers from Valpolichela. Of course they have them on the list but in the same numbers as ones from others regions of Italy and France.

Without a doubt the best meal of our holiday. The staff warmly welcomed is to a cosy table where despite the short list of menu choices we were delighted by 3 courses of delicious culinary masterpieces. The wines were amazing with any foodie well catered for, even in their "by the glass" selection. I enjoyed every morsel and it was... More

During our 5 day trip to Bardolino we ate in different restaurants every night. On each occasion, prior to tonight, we were presented with a plastic costed booklet with every touristy Italian dish known to man. All ok but unremarkable. However the food at Il Giardino delle Esperidi was outstanding and on a par with Michelin star restaurants we've eaten... More

Go to this restaurant to find some excellent food that is different from the usual Bardolino fare. You could spend a lot of money here, particularly if you explore the amazing wine list, but you don't have to. However you'll probably need two courses as the portions aren't huge. We had pasta with pesto and hazelnuts, and rolled rabbit, both... More

True foodie experience unlike the neighbor restaurants surrounding it. Great service, all courses great. Very fresh and changing menu. You know its good when the menu isn't 8 pages in three languages. Definitely worth a visit if in Bardolino.

Ate here upon our hotel receptionist's recommendation. Was not disappointed, the food was quirky but delicious, menu translations not the best and the service was great initially but slowed down later.... Still very attentive and worth a visit. Reasonably priced at €115 for 2 starters, 2 mains, shared cheeseboard and a bottle of Custoza. Would return!

This was an amazing find and was quite the best meal we had during our stay in Bardolino. The menu isn't the usual for this resort, it really is fine dining and the most interesting cuisine. The interior is small and rather old fashioned in a delightful way. There is a small outside seating area too. We started with fried... More
