Our restaurant was founded in 1950 and was the first stilts over the waters of the lake. Since then, the restaurant has been run by our family, trying to taste our customers with the highest number of local products as possible: whitefish (coregone), perch, pike eel but especially with Vernaccia (our specialty) mentioned by Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy. The oil that we use in all food is produced by us (we have a farm just over the hills of Bolsena). The wine list is well stocked with all the bottles in the area. We produce dishes of the day and on order of the peculiarities of the fish of Lake Bolsena. We also host groups and organized lunches to work. We are open all year for lunch…
All reviews seafood pizza trout mussels fries tiramisu on stilts great location lake fish food is excellent balcony overlooking the lake fish swim fresh water fish lunch time spring and autumn food and wine great wine
The terrace of the Trattoria del Moro is a splendid place for enjoying a lunch in spring or autumn. You sit in the warm sun, while overlooking the lake and with ducks beneath your feet quacking and looking for food. Absolute joy !

This is a great location, but avoid some of their local fried fish. it is bland, dry and has no taste, the COD with honey fried or other wise is excellent and prices are reasonable. good place for lunch so you can have views of...More
First and foremost, probably one of the best locations to eat, as you are sat above the Lake, With 270 degree views of the stunning lake.
We ordered a wide range of dishes, across both seafood, meat and vegetables
The food was fabulous. Great service...More
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We had a table for 9 on the balcony overlooking the lake and the sunset on a beautiful evening. Food was delicious and service superb. The owner came over and introduced himself which was a lovely touch.
We had a dinner with group of 10 friends with different dishes. I recommend rolls of coregone, fish from the lake . One of my best fish experiences. For dessert cheese cake. Also my friends were very satisfied with their choices.
This is a restraunt in a great location and with great potential. Unfortunately the location suggests it should do great fish but the reality is that the fish from the lake are poor material to work with - not the restraunts fault. So if you...More
The view on the lake is really nice but the restaurant is too stuffed and it was way to hectic in there. Waiters running, children crying, cellphones ringing...
the food was ok but nothing special. We expected more.
We had lunch here and it was very good. Good fish and seafood, superb tiramisu. We booked a couple of hours before with no problem. The service was very good and the staff friendly. Try to get a table next to the lake. We also...More
