Ein Hüttenurlaub auf der Rossalm: „Zwoafoch guat“! In eurem nächsten Almurlaub in Südtirol gibt’s jetzt doppelt so viele gute Gründe, genau uns einen Besuch abzustatten! Wir, Christoph und Werner, mit unserem flotten Team von fleißigen Mädels und Burschen sorgen dafür, dass ihr euch auf unserer Rossalm pudelwohl fühlt. Hier auf 2.200 m, inmitten der grandiosen Berg- und Naturlandschaft des Brixner Hausbergs Plose, soll es euch schließlich an nichts fehlen. Na, neugierig? Dann bleibt doch noch ein Weilchen – willkommen!

Excellent restaurant with spectacular views

Not exactly a mountain "hut", yet an excellent restaurant offering typical Southtyrolian dishes for hikers and skiers alike. Portions are enormous even if you were hiking. Views are spectacular, make sure you download an app explaining all the mountains around. Service is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating.

While hicking...

Ths is the ideal place where to stop for a hearty lunch or for a relaxing break while hicking. Simple, traditional cuisine with local products but full of taste. Their cakes and ice creams are simply great. Friendly staff.

Great lunch in the sun with good friendly service. Lots of choice with a decent price. The walk from Plose makes the beer worth it! Nice trampoline for kids. Recommend the go kart on the way back down..

Fabulous stay in the Dolomites

We stayed five days at the Lodge. The rooms were super clean and newly renovated. We had a spectacular view over the impressive mountain range and the valley. The restaurant is built in the modern alpine style, has a huge outdoor area and is very popular with families because of the play area for kids. The owners and their team are genuinely friendly and very attentive to their guests. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed delicious breakfast buffets and 5 course dinners with food from the area. We went hiking for 3 days and were amazed about nature’s beauty. We could see far away mountain ranges. After our day trips, my husband enjoyed the sauna and the whirlpool. We will definitely be back!

Stunning views Good selection of dishes and beverages Staff friendly and efficient. They've a fantastic hotel attached and if you're looking for a romantic getaway in the mountains, I think that this would be for you! Check out their website!

What a fantastic surprise

We took the Woody Walk from Kreuztal, not knowing exaclty where it would bring us, apart from some sort of moutain hut. What we found blew our minds ! Huge playgroud, with everything from sandpit to swings and climbing frames. Just below, there's a large pond with a pull along raft to go from one side to the other for fun. The exterior offers a choice of sunny or shady spots to sit down and enjoy a veyr traditional, hearty menu (beer, porc, Strudel, and such like). Clean toilets and changing table for your baby available. Super friendly and efficient service. We read that you can stay overnight, there's also a sauna and jacuzzi with view on the moutains. Would highly recommend as a day outing, especially with kids !

Great food, great view, good beer.

My wife and I stopped here on a walk in the Plose area. We came up on the Cable Car then took walk: 17 & 17A to reach this place after a reasonably easy, fairly level (some rise) walk of 50 minutes. I had the pork hock and my wife had a schnitzel. I had a nice wheat beer to wash it down. Friendly multi-lingual staff. Sat outside and admired the view while we ate. Kids play area to keep the youngsters entertained. Highly recommended.

Great spot for a break on the Plose

We stopped here for lunch after hiking on the Plose. It was very busy as we were there around lunchtime but we still managed to get a table fairly quickly. The service was reasonably fast considering how busy it is. As well as German and Italian, there are also menus available in English, French and Czech. There is a good selection of Austrian food at reasonable prices. We didn't sit outside as it was raining but the views of the Dolomites from the outdoor seating were spectacular.

Summer is beautiful at this place. It looks like it would be fantastic in winter but summer is spectacular too. Great food and a lovely place to relax and enjoy the Dolomites.

Wonderful place to be

We had the Rossalm as a final target for a day walk starting from the lift station and going through the woody walk for kids. The restaurant is quite big and there are a lot of activities for kids infront. Actually perfect for families with kids. Also the food was pretty good and the prices are fair having in mind that the hut is at over 2000m hight. The terrace with the amazing view of the the Dolomiten is of course the highlight and worthy to go there. Can recommend to everyone and will definitely try to visit in summer when many water activities and lots of sun are available.
