MICHELIN Guide: Good cooking
Situated away from the main tourist area, in a rustic building that is striking for its attractive outdoor space shaded by a wooden gazebo, this restaurant boasts an informal and relaxing atmosphere. The Mediterranean cuisine is full of character and prepared with top-quality ingredients, including a small selection of oysters.

My husband and I had a six-course tasting dinner, all based on fish. Original presentations and recipes but respecting tradition. Excellent linguine with caciucco sauce...fish without fish...perhaps the service needs to be improved given that it is a high-quality restaurant...very courteous waiters but there is a bit of inexperience...certainly the price is not within everyone's reach...a little excessive but we noticed that in general on Elba everything is very expensive and the services are not always of high quality, in this case however the quality is there.

Excellent restaurant. Prices adapted to the service it offers.
We took as an appetizer the octopus, as first courses the risotto with raw and cooked cuttlefish and the spaghetti fume, all of high standard. Special mention to the dessert, the burnt cream something was something superlative...

We went to this restaurant for the second time after two years and opted for the five-course tasting menu chosen by the chef. A nice surprise with excellent fish dishes and excellent value for money. In addition to the five courses, a welcome from the kitchen is served, a tea before the second course and a fantastic pre-dessert, in addition they offered us a digestive after the coffee. Good wines by the glass. The plating is worthy of a gourmet cuisine because, as Barbieri says, you also eat with your eyes. It is not on the sea, but the outdoor location is elegant in a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is very kind and we enjoy talking to them. Next time we will opt for the Ă la carte menu, peeking at the other tables we saw some really interesting dishes.
Until next time!

Local that is reconfirmed for quality price at the top, dishes varied compared to the previous year and much attention to detail. Courtesy and service are very adequate, it could easily be a Michelin star if you raise the bar. Bravo!

Nice location, among plants, flowers and even a fountain to evoke slightly Middle Eastern sensations. The cuisine aims to amaze with sometimes risky but never excessive combinations, as in the case of the grilled octopus tentacle with nduja salami sauce or the even more astonishing grilled pork belly with red prawn tartare. The gnocchi with sword sauce and eggs are good, the smoked tagliolini are less convincing; Well, if I'm honest, the use of smoking is a bit excessive, almost "ubiquitous": apart from the initial amazement, it doesn't deserve particular praise when tested on the palate.
Large cellar, with an interesting section dedicated to the Tyrrhenian islands.
Professional service.
I'm counting on €50 for two courses, excluding wines.

We had dinner at the Il Moro Restaurant to conclude our week on Elba.
The restaurant is located towards the hinterland of Marina di Campo, very easy to reach, with parking adequate to the number of tables available in the room. Warm welcome but professional, very nice location and attention to detail. We ordered two first courses, two second courses and two desserts. Before the arrival of these dishes, properly explained, we had the pleasure of enjoying two very special welcome entrées.
Next, I took the “Mediterranean Camufflage”, a raw and cooked risotto of seafood, cuttlefish, shellfish and seaweed really SUPERLATIVE! Never tried a first course so special: with each fork, as seafood is expertly arranged, you can see and discover ever new and well-mixed tastes!
The other first order was the “Chicche di Potato alla amberjack and its eggs” really good.
As a second course we both took the Sword Cube in Panko crust and Pekan nuts: excellent and very particular in taste and sight!
Finally, two desserts that as a base are like a Tiramisu and a Crema Catalana (in the menu indicated as Tiramisu 3.0 and Crema Bruciata), but revisited in an original and really tasty way: as they were served, they are very reminiscent of the unstructured kitchen. Truly a pleasant discovery and an experience that we will definitely recommend and to which we will return!

I was looking for a high quality fish restaurant and here I found it, indeed of a high level. It seems expensive but the 6-course tasting menu satisfies the palate and taste with excellent value for money. Precise and attentive service, good choice of wines accompanied by sound advice. Beautiful and rustic-elegant environment with spacious and well-spaced tables.

My wife and I returned to this beautiful restaurant after a few years. We chose the tasting menu with eight courses, all washed down with an excellent “Percorsi” wine from Cantina Cecilia. What can I say: it was a succession of new flavors and combinations skillfully explained by the dining room staff who took turns at our table. Another beautiful experience.

Fine dining experience with some delightful surprises making the experience really special! From the entree to the tasty bread with butter mixed with seaweed. Preparation of each plate is elaborated, nicely plated to create a beautiful impression at the sight and in the taste. Risotto is superb as well as the turbot. Great selection also of dessert: difficult to choose. I will for sure come back and try the tasting menu!

All really very good!
We tried the 8-course tasting menu and had a wonderful trip.
Top dish: spaghetti with smoked eggplant and raw shrimp!
Very courteous and super attentive staff.
Recommendation: in some dishes (especially a few appetizers) to my taste the fish was dominated by other flavors, thus losing the role of the main protagonist.
We will definitely return to taste other dishes.

A significantly above average restaurant. Refinement in the ingredients and in the composition of the dishes, which satisfy sight and palate. I suggest one of the three tastings proposed by the chef, to fully enjoy the delicacies prepared in the kitchen, with creative and refined combinations. Interesting wine list and excellent room service: the customer feels pampered. The prices are adequate and not excessive, given the top level of the offer.

Pleasant experience we tried different dishes and each one always a new discovery and surprise. Mixes sometimes pushed further but always very balanced and "spot on"
Excellent among the starters are cod in tempera and tuna bresaola with figs, original raw cooked risotto to try and very pleasant and good the pork cheek with red prawn tartare... the dessert is also worth trying but we remained on the classic cantucci accompanied by a excellent Aleatico passito...TO COME BACK is the best restaurant in Marina di Campo

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We chose the tasting menu entrusting ourselves to the chef. One dish better than the other. Personally I would have eaten thousands of pre-desserts 🤣 All courses are taken care of in detail.
The staff is very kind and discreet.
I advise!!!!

Location not adequate for the standard of the food offered.
We took the 8 course menu. Many raw and all very good, well put together dishes but with too many flowers and herb decorations.
Fast, courteous service, smiling and ready guys. The "pear" dessert certainly created with a lot of work, but a little poor, especially the crumbe on which it rested. The small pastry shop is good. Advised

The restaurant is not on the sea, it is located in a suburban street of Marina di Campo, a little out of the way. There is ample parking. Then you enter and you are in the small and pretty garden (we had already been there six years ago, but we found it more welcoming and more cared for).
but the best comes from the kitchen.
portions are not large, but allow the curious diner to enjoy everything from appetizer to dessert!
Dishes with some small excess in the search for originality, but overall all excellent.
The staff is correct, competent and kind.
This was our second visit. There's no two without three!
