Like almost every shop in Cortina is overpriced compared to the quality. I went inside only once and the staff looked almost annoyed I have entered. Bread and pizza are ok, but pastries are small and expensive. History does not make a shop good by definition. Not recommended.

This is simply "The" bakery of Cortina! It has been there for a very long time, making the traditional and, personally, the best local breads together with a great selection of patisserie products. A must try.

There was a birthday of my client. So, I went to Pasticceria Alverà to buy a cake. They had no cake. So, I ordered a St. Honorè. After few hours they handed me a terrible cake.

We just have been in Cortina, and realized this nice building and hopped in! We bought poor old Karpfen, at least one day old :-( Bred was o.k. We would not recommend to buy anything there.

I really enjoyed the fruit tortes. Employees were friendly and a nice destination at the end of the pedestrian walkway.

This is a great little shop where one can stock up on great bread and cakes. They have a great selection of well known favourites and lesser known local specialities. The staff love to help out and will make the best of your attempts at Italian. It would have been 5/5 but their foccacia isn't the best in town.

The fresh Puccia with speck was the best in Cortina. idem for te dry ones. The krapfen with jam was good, the Pain... More
