Our first evening of our holiday to Sicily, we ended up here based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The pizza was worth ordering extra of, the arancini was the best we've had during our entire trip and the calzones were also delicious - although the one with Frankfurter and fries would also be a worthy postmodern commentary on... Quality at price point is what matters here. Calzone that is perfect taste at 2.50 euro. We came back the next night. Only slight grumble is they don't open at lunchtime. On the first trip they were also fitting in catering for a large take-out so it was chaotic in the small area; although the young (from my age) chap... More

While the selection wasn't as extensive as the website had led us to believe, the food itself was very tasty and amazingly inexpensive!

great place to try local food. Must aranzzini which is very tasty. There are several types but my recommendation is with pistachio. This is a place that is at the best prices in the Giardini. The staff, although poor and someone i can speak English, yet they are very kind

Fast food style place to get some of the best arancini. Hidden in the side alley, also a small terrace. Friendly service.

We are vegetarians, and the food we had were the veggie calzones, the veggie arencinis (with tomatoes onion and eggplants in them) and the salmon arencini. All the food tasted good, plus the owner was very nice!! (He also stated that if we weren't vegetarians his recommendation is the ragu arencini). Also we got complimentary caprrici (deep fried dough with... More

I read the posts on trip advisor about the shop and that its famous for serving local Sicilian food. The place was few meters aways from the hotel where we stay but was a bit tricky to find since its not on main road and we had to ask several people to find the place. The best way is to... More

The tourist guide told us about arancini as Sicilian food specialty, we definitely wanted to try it but did not know where it would be the best. One evening when we were walking on the strip we noticed that more and more Italian people are carrying something on a take-away tray covered by a colorful orange paper. We tought it... More
