We had a great lunch on the terrace of this beatyfull place. From your table we could see Portovenere and the Palmaria and Tino islands. The owner make available some sunbeds near the sea and it is possible to have a swim just 1 meter from the restaurant. The food is good but not outstanding. The better dish we tryed... More

The location is one of the most scenic of this amazing coast, it's worth half'bill. The dishes are quite good, sicurely not on the top . Don't expect to find a elegant and refined restaurant, the service is friendly but not cured in the details and on weekends to much slow. The most of the fishes are good tasting .... More

This restaurant is in a wonderful location under the castle in Lerici - surrounded by water and so peaceful. There is one problem, however - the food is awful (and expensive). Go for a drink and make the most of the lovely sunset but eat at your peril. Don't say you weren't warned

Service very poor. Had to wait for waitress long enough to go away on Saturday. Was overcrowded. Decided to return next day. On Sunday evening there were several couples only. Still had to wait very long. Was not tasty. Small portions. Price to high. At the end we could not await ordered desert and reqested check which contained amount for... More

You'd eat here every day just for the view. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean, sipping a cold glass of their house white whilst enjoying some fresh seafood makes for a lovely way to spend a lazy lunch in the middle of summer. The views can't be faulted nor the value for money. The antipasta was a delight however... More

This was a sentimental journey for me. I was here sixty-one years ago when the restaurant was a bistro built by the parents of the present owner. (We would dance to scratchy records and nurse a Peroni beer the entire evening. Sgr Dilucca didn't seem to mind.) The restaurant was fully booked for lunch, but the hostess kindly sat my... More

Its certainly a unique way of arrivi g to a restaurant! After walk ing by the boats towards the castle that over looks the bay there is a big tunnel that one Walks through under the hill which comes out exclusively to this restaurant! Great seaview and stunning location. Food was ok , the antipasti was good and the friend... More

I would have never walked down the tunnel if my aunt hadn't said to try this restaurant. The tunnel has interesting art work which all has the castle featured in it. My family all enjoyed their seafood pasta for lunch. The view was beautiful on a sunny late October.

In 1945 Ciccillo Diluca purchased a parcel of land on the rocks under the Lerici medieval castle and began construction of what is famously known to today as Ciccillo a Mare. This restaurant with up close and personal views of the Gulf of Poets remains in the family to this day and affords visitors incredible views, good wine and delicious... More
