We stayed nearby La Torre and we went several times. Amelia really took care of us and the whole staff was so friendly and attentive. The food was some of the best meals we had while we were here. Definitely get the dessert!

During our stay in Massa Lubrense this local family owned restaurant was recommended by our kind host. The experience and food we had there will stay with us for a lifetime. One of the gracious and welcoming members of the family picked us up at...our home and drove our family of five to the restaurant. She dropped us off at a panoramic lookout point just steps from their restaurant where you see one of the most beautiful views in the world. We strolled twenty steps or so up to their outdoor patio seating and from the moment we sat down we were treated like family. We were introduced to the entire family and treated as if we were a part of it. Smiles and laughter filled the air and then we started to order our amazing meal! We ordered almost everything they had to offer and it was all so incredibly delicious. Their house wine paired very well with all we had. I am not going to list our favorites because it was all so amazing. You’ll have to go and decide for yourself! After dinner this kind family took time to drive us back to our house and drop us off. It was five stars from start to finish. If you are staying anywhere near Massa Lubrense take the time to visit LaTorre and enjoy some of the best views, finest food and most welcoming service this region has to offer! Today, from my visit to this restaurant, I got not remarkable foods but nightmare experiences. First of all, I ordered most of the dishes followed the waitress guidance, I end up received low quality of foods. the fried shrimps were sized very uneven and most...of them are 1-2 canter meters long. Other dishes were not impress me as well. More worse, the services I experienced was terrible. They made us wait a dish for longer then 30 minutes, in the meantime, they showed very inpatient when I complained that I was suffering a lot of mosquitoes bite. I will never come back to this restaurant again and I strongly recommend visitors be careful if you plan to go because they knew you are not likely coming back therefore they don’t care how do you think about them.More

A family run restaurant that ticks ALL the boxes and then some. A fantastic scenic location with a viewing point of beautiful Capri as a backdrop. Immaculate and friendly service from a wonderful staff who even gave us some lessons in Italian phrases - Bounissimo....And of course the food ,my oh my oh my the food. Stunning from start to finish. An amuse bouche of fried pizza dough was bursting with tomato flavour. Mussels that melted in your mouth. Bread with a wonderful back ground note of fennel that acted as the perfect savoury sponge to mop up the wonderful sauces.Perfect pasta that played a wonderful symphony with a collection of exquisite sauces and a supporting cast of an extraordinary array of seafood. The star of the show for me were deep fried anchovies with the most flavourful cheese filling. Delicately handled and quite simply sublime. 6 of us all had a different and all were superb. In Massa Lubrense for a week and visited this restaurant twice. It is quite remote, but owner happy to do pick up and return from your hotel. Food is the star in a great setting. Family of six adults on last visit and we all...enjoyed all the courses we experienced. Melanzanie, prawns special, meatballs were all great, but the Canelloni special was the best. You must try this place if in the area.More
