Reading other recent reviews we may have struck lucky, but in a holiday of excellent meals this was one of the best. We rolled up late for lunch looking none too elegant after a long walk but this presented no problems and the service was good and the food excellent, especially the spaghetti alla vongole and the seafood risotto. Great... More

Went there because we read that Mario Batali likes it. We were less impressed. Great views, pretty good service. Food was good but not great. VERY expensive for the quality. Wines were priced double or triple to other Sorrento area restaurants which we patronized.

One star for location , another for appetizers and one decent filet steak. Otherwise the three scallopini orders were INEDIBLE. They were noisily cleaning and closing the restaurant before we left early at 9:15. Our waitress was pleasant but made no effort to correct the three horrible scallopini entrees. This is a place to MISS! Overpriced, expensive wine list, and... More

Having visited Nerano several times throughout the week we have been fortunate enough to try a variety of the Risotorantes in the area. The majority have been nice, however this particular visit to Lo Scoglio (our first and last) was so disappointing that we felt the need to log in and and leave a review. My wife and I visited... My wife found this restaurant doing a bit of research before our trip. We could not be more pleased with the food, the atmosphere and the service. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waiter, Giusepe, is the grandson of the owner. He was very welcoming and gave us great recommendations on dishes. We ate way too much. You must order... More

This is one of few restaurants with its own pier if you are arriving by boat. The setting on the sea is exceptional and the food truly amazing. The seafood platter on ice to start is a must, followed by zucchini pasta, which although simple, is one of the best dishes I had during my holiday. If you still have... More

We have been two times from Capri via boat. The seafood is fresh and amazing. Raw clams and sea urchin being the highlite. The zucchini pasta is a must have and the caprese ravioli with yellow tomato is wonderful. There is great energy and people watching and we look forward to our next visit. Service is very friendly and everyone... More

Beatiful surroundings. Good quick service. However, seabass quality was beyond our best food experiences we had în Greece, France or Spain ( Ibiza).Like antispasti few mussels with much pepper. În general much money for small food quantity.

Lo Scoglio was the last stop for 13 of us traveling together on the Amalfi Coast. We arrived by boat from Capri to this lovely, mainly seafood, restaurant on the sea. Our first course was literally a cornucopia of antipasti--cured meats, cheeses, veggies and beans prepared many different ways. Everything was superb. The pasta choices were many--with mussels and yellow... More

Sitting outside on the pier with a glass of local white wine eating course after course of wonderful food, you can't imagine life getting any better. Most everything was excellent, especially the zucchini pasta that everyone mentions but including the tomato salad, frito misto, and assorted braised vegetables. My sea urchin pasta was excellent. We were too full for dessert.... More
