The chef antipasti was terrible. One shrimp, some bad smelling mussels and some other random stuff that didn't smell good. Pasta was awful too. Gnocchi had been frozen and the penne with crab was... Just terrible. The wine was fine.
Isola d'Elba is not for the gourmet to start with. You are actually best off with basic food like pizza and the trattoria does a good job at that.

No idea what can be better. Everything is ok. We came 8 people and everyone was satisfied. Fresh, tasty.
Everything is average or roght below it. The pasta with vongole was a bit to al dente, the pizza crust was a bit too think. The only positive note is the service: very fast and happy to help.
