We were looking for a spot on the beach with shade and a place to buy a cold drink and stumbled on this place. Most places were reserved for season pass holders but they did offer us three possible spots furthest from the sea, one of which we took. 16 euros for each chair for the day.

Bad service, overpriced food, too salty. "Caprese Salad" = 1 tomato + 5 slices of bad mozzarella + lots of salt, for 12€. 😡

The only thing that is "piccolo" about this restaurant is actually the size of the kitchen. In that small kitchen owner/chef Natale produces a few outstanding dishes of food. Of course we're talking mainly fish. And if I compared this beach bar/restaurant to the one Martinez in Cannes operates, they sure could take a lesson here. We had three extensive... More

We found this bar on the beach, and although attached to the hotel it was reasonably priced and good service. Lovely spot for an aperitivo. We then tried the bar in the hotel another night when the beach bar was closed...lovely spot again. Came back again for dinner.....lovely strogonoff, amazing steak. Good service.

You are on the beach... The view and the food is fantastic. Staff is really great and attentive. Try fish of the day cooked or carpaccio: delicious...

We chose this restaurant because it was close to where we lived, having already had meals at the hotel and in the city centre of Portovenere. This was by far the best of the meals we've had in Portovenere. It lies approx. 1 km outside of the city centre of Portovenere along the beach, and the view is great and... More

All 4 meals were excellent. If you just want a salad it will be enough...feeds 2 at least. I had a chilled plate of roasted red pepper, anchovies with capers and olive oil. The finish was a scoop of vanilla gelato dropped into a glass of iced espresso..... This is exactly what one hopes for with such an ideal location.... More

i recomend this beach for a swim in the evening to recover from the heat of summer days, then enjoy the views and go to any restaurant to have some good fresh fish of the day!
