This is a small farm to table family owned restaurant. The gardens surround the restaurant which if you have a guide you might be able to see. The food and service were wonderful. We had no menu, we just ate what mama was preparing that day. We were able to go in the kitchen and meet mama and the staff.... More

Although it is somewhat of a challenge to get there (local bus going up a steep mountain terrain with hairpin turns), it is well worth the effort. SO MUCH FOOD!! We went for lunch so we could enjoy the extraordinary views. 8 courses later and ready to burst at the seams, we hobbled our way through a tour of the... More

We had a marvelous 'light lunch' (no meat) today. The spectacular view, the quality of the produce and the authentic cooking are all a delight.Service was fine and this is a unique experience which was not expensive. It was very good value. Better at lunch I would think at this time of the year. Close to sunset in summer would get... More

This is literally my favorite restaurant in the world!! My husband and I visited for lunch post the 'Path of the Gods' hike. We had not looked up any reviews, and were mind blown by the end of the meal. The views are fabulous. It's a mom & pop run place, and the food and hospitality is beyond excellence. The... More

The best! As mentioned in other reviews you need to prepare for a meal here, you have to have room to fit in each fantastic course. This is a family restaurant and they certainly make you feel like their guest.

We had lunch at Trattoria la Tagliata as part of our tour of the Amalfi Coast. It has been the best meal of our long holiday. Between the best family service and meeting mama, to eating a delicious home cooked meal and sitting by a window with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea ,what more could you ask for. A... More

We had an amazing time! It's a fixed price for 5 courses and all you can drink! Such an amazing experience. The best value in town. They even pick you up and drop you off from your accommodation. The view of the bay and town was wonderful even if it was dark as all the lights were glowing. Highly recommended!

Terrific lunch. A serendipitous stop for us on the hike from Agerola to Positano...lovely room and a fantastic meal (set menu). Chose the full lunch option (4 types of pasta after antipasti) and getting motivated to finish our hike was a serious challenge. Given its location, the slight inconvenience of getting here (it is slightly outside Positano) might weigh against... More

We were a group of 8 on a tour. The view is breath taking and the food outstanding! We were served 'family' style and there was a never ending amount. Both the red and white wines were very good and plentiful. This is a restaurant not to be missed!

This is a little bit of a different experience than going to a typical restaurant- it's an experience. First of all if you expect to eat something very specific- this place is not for you. It's family style and they only serve what's being cooked- although they do accommodate folks that are vegetarians so have no fear be adventerous which... More
