What a little gem! We came here with a local, and were very happy with everything. The wine we had was a sparkling white, which was amazing. We had the sushi with local fish which was so delicious, along with seared beef and a few...other seafood dishes. Their dishes change often, and if you ask, there’s usually a dish or two that’s not even on the menu that you could have. Staff are very friendly and definitely are getting their exercise as the place was packed the entire time we were there. Definitely a must if you’re in Rovereto.More
the deli serves some fantastic dishes. Staff are very friendly and happy to talk about food. I had some very original sushi, thin roasted slices of courgette on the outside, and steamed cod on the inside.. really good! I sat at the little bench in...the deli - I think there is a restaurant too but didn't go in.More
Al silenzio is simply the best restaurant in the area, for three reason: good and creative food; selected beverage. The menu changes a lot and they introduces always new dishes, and they are often an invention of the chef mixing different tradition like trentino cousine,...sushi, arabian hummus, and so on. It's not so cheapest but it deserves a visit when you're in the area. Creativity should be encouraged!More
If you are in the Rovereto area this little restaurant is not to be missed. Truly original and delicious food with international influences and local ingredients, made and served by a young and passionate team. Excellent drinks too, including a stellar cider - still a...rarity in Italy. Most importantly, the menu is filled with tasty vegan and vegetarian options other than fish and meat dishes. Do not miss.More
We visited this restaurant on our visit to the Dolomites. It was recommended by local people and we were not disappointed. We had the special Lake Guarda fish sushi made with local lake fish. They were beautifully presented with some edible local flowers embedded in...them. Together with the vegetarian sushi equally tasty they were a surprising and impressive find in this part of Trentino. Our secondi were also excellent made with local San Martino fish from the Lake. We were not disappointed with the desserts either - delicious strudel common in these parts and almond ice cream made from local almonds. We highly recommend this place and don't miss the sushi.More
We found this restaurant here on TripAdvisor and decided to go here.
It was located nicely and we was seated outside.
The menu was in Italian only and the waitress could speak English only helpful but she was VERY helpful and explain it to us....Food was experimental Italian. Crossing with Japanese sushi and Italian food. Was a bit surprised that the food was served cold but it was actually very good. Fish was perfectly made and the side dish was good combined.
So if you are after truly Italian food you might not choose this place but if you are curious on food and do not want your ordinary pizza and hamburger I would tell you to go hereMore
Reading the reviews I was expecting more but unfortunately was a over estimation .
The location is nice , the service good but the food nothing special . The trentin sushi has just the sound of an evocation , only that , only rice mainly...and tasteless.
The rest of the dishes are a sum of nice attempts, a mix cultures and cuisines which creates confusion and does not give a soul to the please and the results are not in line with the expectation . Prices too high for the area . Good areas for improvements but at least the people are nice and with strong commitment to work and improve. I would suggest the chef and the personnel make a learning trip in some international cities to watch...More
