Tasty Italian food

Ristorante Da Anita is located in the centre of San Martino di Castrozza. The well-designed restaurant offers traditional Italian cuisine. The restaurant has a well-kept and modern feel and also offers guestrooms. Staffs are welcoming and friendly. On a snowy evening in January, we came for a family dinner and found the restaurant almost fully booked. A very good sign. We found a pleasant atmosphere. In the food we were not disappointed. The food was well presented and tasty. When you fancy good Italian food at a reasonable price, Ristorante Da Anita is the place for you. Recommend.

I found a magical place with a family business. Through the mother Anita and children they show the passion to make customers feel at home with high-level cuisine. If you want to experience a magical moment I recommend it.

A baby ski lesson day has been changed in a restaurant trip in the mountain. We booked to Anita's just because close to baby slopes but when there we spent 3 hours at restaurant. Nice place, gourmet dishes. Main course by aged T-bone. Unfortunately I have to highlight two leaks: Our pet has not been welcome and price a bit expensive.

Absolutely wonderful meal! Enjoyed delicious homemade tagliatelle pasta with mushrooms, rabbit, & butter; it melted in my mouth. Also shared a main of tender roasted rabbit. We've been in Italy a week, & this was the best meal we've had so far. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor patio with fabulous Dolomiti views. As a bonus, Mama circulates the dining tables with love and suggestions of what to order. This is one of a kind; don't miss it.

This has been, by far, the best restaurant we’ve visited during our stay in the Dolomites. Pure. This is the word that describes our experience. The setting, the people, and most of all, the food.

A boost from beautiful beef

I had been climbing in the Dolomites with a friend. This place lies a little walk north of the main town and is a treat. My first choice of slow cooked pork was finished . Maybe this was a good thing as after a very good pasta dish with a simple and delicious tomato sauce I was given my second choice- manzo tagliato-probably the best steak I have ever had. Service is helpful and no problems coping with English. Well worth the visit. Extensive wine list focusing on wines from Trentino and Alto Adige.

Went there on our first night out in San Martino di Castrozza. Despite all the positive reviews on TA we ended up quite disappointed. Dishes are not up to the mark (I ordered truffle tagliatelle in which truffle didn't have any smell or taste), wine offer is limited and incredibly over priced. Anita, the owner, comes out every now and then to enquire the guests about the dinner, which is nice on her side. I'm not saying it's a total disaster, but we luckily had the chance to dine in far better places throughout our vacation. As an Italian, I would not recommend it. Ask the locals when around, you'll find nicer restaurants!

Dining highlight

Have enjoyed this family run restaurant so much, we have come 2 days in a row after our hikes. The pastas are spectacular. The tagliatelle with the deer is out of this world. The spaghetti with fresh tomatoes is right there in class. We are from Napa so really appreciated the well curated wine list. Some excellent finds. The family and staff are so welcoming. Highly recommended stop!

Food: We ordered beef, and got a slice og perfectly cooked beef along with potatoes and local vegetables. The potatoes and vegetables were perfectly cooked with interesting spices. Service: The food came at a reasonable time, the waitresses were helpful, funny, and easy to communicate with. A bit expencive, but it's well worth the price... Definately a place to recommend! Total score: 5/5

The restaurant was situated in the outskirts of the city center, but we managed to find it. We had read about brilliant reviews in Trip Advisor for this restaurant, and now we wanted to find out for ourselves. We were not disappointed. The staff was wery helpful and seeviceminded and the food was delicious. This is not the cheapest restaurant here but you get value for your money😀

Very nice place

We came here for my mothers birthday and we were very satisfied. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, the service was fantastic with very nice waitresses and the place had a warm atmosphere. Definitely recommened if visiting San Martino.

Very bad service

Twice we tried this place and both of the times the service was extremely slow and bad. The first time we stayed for more than 20 min for the waiter to take our order so we left. The second time we got the food but they forgot the drinks. It seemed that their only interest was to bring you the cutlery set and charge you 2 euro just for sitting at the table. The waitress said that they are short on staff.. It was Christmas week which is their high season .. so I wonder when they think they should have enough staff! Don't waste your money and go to eat at the bar on the opposite side
