Great sea bass and good service also excellent bread made on the premises, proper pizza oven and iced glass of cold beer on a hot, hot day. Perfection. No cover charge makes it nice not have hidden costs. thanks.

Ate here twice whilst staying just up the street. Gnocchi with tomato sauce was great. Local fried fish incredible- meant as a starter but with a side dish of fries and salad was a filling meal. Three beautifully fried fish- one a bit like red mullet, two different but unidentifiable- so tasty. Really reasonable prices. It does get full later... More

This is a simple place that would be easy to ignore. It was busy when we ate there because Italy were playing in the Euros. On other nights we noticed there was more space. This really is a place where the italians go. The food is excellent and very well priced. We ate here twice, which for us is unusual.... More

This is a typical little Italian. It is not fancy, has a large tv on and wooden chairs. It's where the locals go as it was pretty full when we went. The pizza was amazing. Easily the best we've had, and we've had a lot of good pizza in 2 weeks! The chilli flakes the waiter offers are a must!... More

Ate here twice while staying at the nearby Hotel Apha. The big TV can be a bit of a put off but actually you dont notice it once you are settled in. Menu is very varied and there are some house "specials" like the Vesuvio Pizza and Sea Bass that are jaw dropping in their presentation. ( I defy anyone... More

This little restaurant has only a few tables in a narrow room. A big screen showing music videos. The service is quite funny and likes joking. The food is very good and very cheap, compared to the quality. Ask for the recommendations of the day. They are reliable. They do pizza as well, but it is worth trying something else... More

Can't blame TA for this one. The hotel recommended this place as it was up the road and we were feeling lazy (blame the Euro 2012 Soccer Cup and a rapidly approaching half time). Often, the first thing we notice is poor service. Can't say that about this place. The waiter was attentive enough, a little Spanish banter with my... More

You may walk past this place.......but don't it's real and real Italians eat here. Claudio is a fantastic host with charm and personality. We ate there 3 times and every time was a delight. We recommended it to everyone we spoke to at the hotel and everyone went back for more. Good pricing great service cannot wait till we in... More

The best spaghetti with zucchini sauce ever. So good, I had to go back a second night during a 3 night stay to have it again. Fantastic service by the owner with a great sense of humour. Simple taverna, with great authentic food topped off by great limoncello. Left each time feeling we'd had a great night out without breaking... More
