We stopped here by chance and we loved it. Nice and welcoming service, fine quality of Umbrians fresh food and good avarage of price. We had a starter plus a first course and all of them were properly made. The quality of truffle and fresh...porcini mushrooms were excellent. Beers and wine also were good and the olive trees surround builds the perfect combination for a charming lunch in family or with friends. I've been surprised by some reviews cause I've found it excellent, I heard also the comments from others costumers and all of them were totally satisfied!More

We stayed at a place up the hill in Bazzano Superiore (at Il Borghetto). Every time we passed this restaurant, it was packed with long tables of Italians celebrating different events. Even so, the service and friendly and attentive. The pizzas are a highlight, but...we liked everything we got here.More

The food was amazing, al fresco dining under the trees. The farro salad was to die for, so was the antipasti. A great time and service

Le Due Querce was arguably the highlight of our holiday in Umbria. Our wonderful hosts at the cottage we stayed in, called Il Borghetto di Bazzano, in the hills a few km outside Spoleto, suggested this restaurant after we arrived from Rome on an early...train and asked whether there was anything close for lunch because we hadn't eaten that day. Well, just over 3km down the road, they said, you'll get a good lunch at Le Due Querche. And they were spot on, it was fantastic. It's a rustic restaurant that's been around for decades and the food was extremely good, especially the pasta, and the prices were cheap. The owners and staff are warm and friendly, as is their service, the location is in the countryside and relaxing, and we were so well looked after that we ate there three nights in a row. Highly recommended. Peter from Perth, AustraliaMore

We were staying in the nearby town of of Bazzano Superiore. This restaurant was recommended by the owner of our accommodation and it did not disappoint. The food is very good and an excellent value. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is in a...beautiful setting and was filled with locals - always a good sign. We really enjoyed the restaurant and can heartily recommend it.More

Our family had the good fortune of having this restaurant recommended to us by the owners of the villa we were staying at in Spoleto. The menu was extensive and everyone was able to find just what they were in the mood to eat. Limited...English spoken, but we were able to muddle through. Every item was delicious and considering all we ate (including somehow finding room for desserts!), it was an excellent value. If you are in the area, you must check this restaurant out.More

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Umbria, as it was recommneded by the owner of our villa. The menu is extremely good value, especially the house wines - at 3 euros for a half litre carafe. The mixed starters of meats and...cheeses were enough for the four of us, and on both occasions most of us had the pizzas. The setting is lovely. We ate outside both times in the warm summer evening. Both times the restaurant was very busy, which was its slight downfall - the waiters struggled to cope and on our first visit took over 30 minutes to deal with our bill.More

This restaurant was recommended by a fellow traveler and he did not lie. It was very good. The service was good but a little slow though we were the first to arrive. The tables were set with linen tablecloths and napkins. Very nice. It filled...up quickly with locals. We had two salads--a farro salad (spelt) and a raddachio salad with pears. They were both very good. Also shared a pasta dish that was good and plenty for two. You have to look for this place. It's down a long country road just past where you want to give up looking. We had wine and beer. the house wine was really good.More
