After visiting with friends and family in Tuscany for 2 weeks we were ready to get away and enjoy some quiet time. We had never spent anytime in Umbria and were pleasantly surprised when we stopped in Perugia to do some site seeing. We drove...further south and eventually found this gem! Would definitely return!More

Our meal was the best we had while in Italy! The host did a wonderful job of making us feel special & welcome and the chef is so very talented! Everything was delicious, but our favorite dish was the truffle pasta...oh my goodness...so good &...melts in your math. The setting can't be beat as it overlooks a green lawn, fruit trees, grape vine covered walkway and has the most glorious setting for a sunset.More

We stayed here 5 nights for a family wedding - the bride chose it and made the bookings so we didn't know what to expect. It was delightful! Very relaxed and friendly with lots of space for all of us to spread out - a...big garden with shady trees, a pool with sunloungers, a terrace, two big lounges with an honesty bar and a pleasant restaurant terrace for breakfast and dinner. The wedding arrangements were perfect: the ceremony was in the garden then after prosecco on the terrace we dined in the evening at a long table under the beautiful pergola hanging with Ines and ripening grapes. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and as there were very few of us who spoke Italian, they did a great job of meeting everyone's needs and requests. And when we weren't celebrating the marriage, we went off to explore Umbria - Assisi and Perugia are within an hour's drive, as well as nearby Spoleto. I can really recommend this for a stay of a few days.More

Ate here a few times, the food was delightful and too our tastes, only had a main and the cheese board though so can not comment on the starters or pasta. The Black pepper steak is georgous. The wines are also well priced and the...head waiter will match you up the perfect one for your tastes, even if its not on the menu.More

Stayed here for 5 nights. The place is utterly delightful. Nicely decorated superior room, only thing missing was a little table and chairs on the courtyard outside. Restaurant closed in tuesday night, but the two nights we ate there the food was absolutely delicious and...the fella who serves there the most engaging and delightful character for whom nothing was too much trouble! Thoroughly recommend this beautiful hotel with its delightfully relaxed atmosphere!More
