Took a trip with Tyrannean Diving today to Stromboli and Panarea-two fantastic islands off the coast of Calabria in southern Italy. First if all let me say that the diving school were excellent-very professional sightseeing trip with English speakers-unusual in this part of Italy. We went to this restaurant on Stromboli and the food was good-I had swordfish spaghetti. Worth... More

We visited Stromboli for one day during our two weeks holiday in Sicily. The island is very beautiful, untouched by mass tourists and all the people we talked to were very friendly. We had the dinner at this restaurant and were treated very well. The service was very good and the food was exceptional, altough the restaurant was quite full.... More

We have ordered 2 brioches with ice cream:brioche tasted like it was from the day before and they put very very little ice cream in it. Plus It was very expensive.

We happened across Il Malandrino by chance as it had some spare tables when we walked past. The waiter was very welcoming and enthusiastic and showed us to a table with gusto. We both ordered a white wine and it was delicious. It turned out to be a locally produced wine from grapes grown on the slopes of the volcano.... More

I completely disagree with the reviews coming from people giving this place one or two stars. This place rocks and the food and service has been outstanding every time. The owner is awesome ! He cares and is very attentive. He makes this place the way it is and that is all quality and a great atmosphere...The food was good... More

This restaurant has the best pizza in town. Pasta is great also. It was so much fun watching how this old guy prepared the Pizza, and the traditional oven fired with wood added to that experience. I ate here every night and would love to return.

Beatrice was a great personable waitress. We had an octopus salad, eggplant and two wood fired delicious pizzas. Lucky find. Great Desserts also....

The buffet is definitely worth your while, but note that they are not tapas style, unless you specify the quantities, We had a pizza there as well: not bad, but not very good either, and heavy.

We visited on a boat trip, it had space and a decent looking view over the beach. Service was quite prompt although we were early. The food was okay, Seafood risotto and the pizza were quite reasonable, the rustic antipasti a bit disappointing. Pricing was moderate, given the isolated location, but reflected in quality. However, the big downside, according to... More

I can just tell about the granita cause it is the only thing i have tried there. They are really good but a bit expensive. My favourite was the strawberry. Figs was also really good, tasted exactly like the fruit. Almond was a bit too sweet for me. The people there are really friendly and nice.
