We spent 10 days in this dream location. The property is situated in a natural park where we had the opportunity to see in the wild: foxes, beavers , egrets , deer and more . The view from teresa is wonderful. Although the location is in a quiet area is just 5 minutes drive by car from Talamone . Breakfast... More

I love it. Self service but it's all part of the fun. Order and your hot food will be shouted out on the tannoy for you to collect. Sounds bizarre but it works. Lovely for kids too. Simple rustic food done brilliantly.

This was one of the best meals of our trip. It took a little sleuthing to find, but well worth the effort. It's not just great food, it is a real experience. The majority of the guests are italian, who obviously know of this place...it opens at 8pm sharp and people are already gathering outside waiting. You cue up to... More

We stayed here for a few nights. Loved the rural feel with horses and the views across the valley is spectacular. The restaurant is very popular at weekend with the locals. The Food is basic and simple. If you’re looking for fine dining this is not for you. The food is served on plastic plates and cutlery. The taste and... More

Ok, it isn't fine dining (try San Fredivino in Firenze for that!) - in fact, it's grab your tray, your plastic table wear, and your paper table cloth and go set your picnic table..... BUT - the food is exquisite, Tuscan foods - wild boar sauce on fettuccine, wild boar sausage, local cheeses, hams, salami; artichokes in oil, home cured... More

This little place is in a beautiful location - up in the hills above Fonteblanda and Talomone. It overlooks the Tuscan coastal hills and valleys and is a very pleasant environment. But the food really isn't worth the drive up there. I had grilled vegetables that were soggy and overcooked in oil, pasta that had obviously been cooked a while... More

We all love to go there for a nice evening with friends. Relax and get yourself the order; table setting and tray with food when they call you name on the speakers. Several areas to restore and a typical landscape. The tuscan maremma menu offers great entrée: ham, sausages; cheese and grilled vegetables. Pasta as first course- 2 or 3... More

Wow, are we glad to have eaten here. A different concept where you order inside and grab your tableware and bottles of wine then head out and wait for your name to be called. It is really fun. Primi first and then called us again when the rest was timed ready for our enjoyment. The wine was very good so... More

Situated above the Bay in Talamone on a horse farm, Burratta is must visit restaurant when visiting Maremma. Incredibly hard to find without a GPS, the ride on dirt roads was bouncy and fun . Once there, you go into a small house and order off the menu on the wall, get your bottle of wine and place settings and... More
