A very small restaurant run by chef patron Elsa. Food is amazing. Always a good selection of wines. You must be prepared to wait since Elsa prepares everything from scratch but it is worth the wait.

This is by far the best place to eat in Todi. Elsa cooks from scratch once you've ordered which means a leisurely meal but with the wine Elsa tells you is most suitable for your evening and the amazing bits and pieces (courgette flowers dipped in batter and deep fried!) the time passes very pleasantly. All her dishes are excellent... More

We have eaten here several times during our stay near Todi and can thoroughly recommend it. This is really authentic Umbrian cuisine - which is unusual even in Umbria. Deceptively simple menus (which change daily) using the freshest ingredients and beautifully cooked by Elsa. No wine list - Elsa recommends your wine once you have ordered your food - and... More

On the basis of reviews we decided to try Enoteca Oberdan - well, big mistake. To have a shared starter and a main course each took over 2 hours. The food was acceptable but certainly not worth the wait. There were only 2 people on duty; a young waitress and the owner, chef, whatever. They were totally inadequate to serve... More

We ate inside due to lingering showers...the back room was small but very nicely decorated, The food was delicious...don't miss the Faro Salad...the chef recommends your wine, he (she) was point on. Our waitress must have been one of the sweetest most charming young ladies in all of Italia. All on all, highly recomended.

...shouldn't work, but they do!!! Apparently you need the purest alcohol to stop the sugar disintegrating, which are infused with various natural flavours such as lemon and ginger... Anyway I digress; Oberdan has been one of my favourite Todi restaurants since opening some years ago. It is fully in line with the "slow food movement", which to those in a... More

So we visited Todi today just at the start of Siesta time. We decided to visit the first lunch place that was open because we were worried everything was about to close and we were quite hungry. We caught the little carriage ride up from the carpark and Enoteca Oberdan was right there! With an incredible view, some lovely shade,... More

We had dinner here on the recommendation of a local person from our hotel. She claimed it was the best restaurant in Todi and she was right. It is fabulous food. The chef/owner fixes each plate for the 8 or so tables herself and bases the menu for the day on what is fresh. She also chooses the wine to... More

Gorgeous food and wine - our first night in Todi and we couldn't have had a more delicious introduction to a very beautiful town - even with the thunder and lightning storm and the rain bouncing off the pavement outside! Would love to go back.

The place is really cozy, a few tables, jazz music in the background. The wine selection is careful and of an excellent choice, the food is delicious: we tasted lentil flan with pecorino, crostone with burrata (without anchovies), black cabbage soup with sausage, meatballs. All yummy! On the contrary the customer care was very poor: it took us nearly two... More
