The local pasta fileja (8.5 eur) was great, just as the tuna steak with caramelized sweet onion (13 eur) and local steak fries (3.5 eur). Friendly service, great value.

I had an aubergine starter with a cheese filling topped with caramelized onions and sundried tomatoes-oh! it was delicious. It is a bit more pricey than the others in Tropea but food is gourmet and ambience is awesome - quaint outdoor seating. We were lucky to be able to eat there because it was shutting for low season in a... More

This restaurant is smack in the middle of the touristy old town of Tropea and serves many of the same dishes that other nearby restaurants feature, but it was very good. We even contemplated eating here two nights in a row; it was that good. I particularly liked the onion soup made with local onions and the grilled shrimp with... More

Very very nice meal. As with most restaurants if not all in Tropea, its the simple things done perfectly combined with touches of finesse. Waiter was helpful with the wine and knew what would work with our dishes. Can't wait to come back here and Tropea.

The service was excellent! The fid was absolutely outstanding, probably the best meal throughout my many trips to Italy. The ambiance is very romantic, totally recommended for a special occasion. The overall experience was superb! It is most definitely a place you should try whole in Tropea! ☆☆☆☆☆

What more can one say? Excellent service, excellent food, excellent ambiance. This restaurant is one of the best we experienced. We broke our own rule of not eating at the same place twice, in order to give other restaurants a try. However, this one was worth the repeat. The roasted meats, the calamari, the anti pastas were all excellent. You... More

I have been in La Lamia years before and the food is always outstanding. We even come back another night because everythibg was so excelent we wanted to taste another dishes and starters: the melanzane with ricota, octopus salad, Antipasti tropeano so good! Ravioli with ragu and Filejas tropeanas excelent. If you are lucky sometimes they have a risotto. Also... More

Smallest but most arrogant, unpolite, overdemanded and frustrated "camerriere". Should rename their place from "wine bar" to "Zaza Bar".
