Tartuffo -italy sweet delicacy was perfect in this place! A portion was really big - so two persons can eat one dessert. Waitress was nice and give us something extra for our kid.

We love our gelato. Our best (or worst?) effort on this holiday has been 3 in one day. We've tried a few places around Tropea and this is the best so far. Nice and creamy, great flavours, not to sweet. A few "novelty" flavours alongside the classics. And our youngest son was delighted to re-discover "Puffo" (Smurf) which has gone... More

Don't miss the typical breakfast in Calabria: the plain brioche with ice cream inside! There are plenty of pastries to choose from to accompany your cappuccino. Also available the salty arancini in two versions: classical with tomato sauce or white. Staff are friendly, polite and quick to serve.

After searching the town, trying night after night to find a gelateria serving proper fruity Italian sorbe-type ice cream, we came across this little gem on the main drag in the town. The choice was extensive, the flavours were amazing...and so were the portions and prices! There was one other decent one just off the square further up the hill,... More

The lovely young lady serving us very kindly gave us samples of the various gelato's to help in the decision-making process. I wish now that I had taken a picture of them all. My husband wanted to try a flavor that they didn't have (Bergamot) and the nice young lady told him of another vendor nearby who sold that flavor.... More

this place is located on main street in old part of Tropea. Few tables outside and tiny inside. There are only 3 types of food available - icecream (from 2 euro), coffee (2euro) and bakes (from 1 euro). Service is quick and welcoming. Busy at night, empty afternoon. Free Wi-Fi is available occasionally, at evening mainly. Nice place to get... More

We haven't actually visited this place as a restaurant but we have bought the most delicious cakes and almond cookies from here. If you have a sweet tooth and fancy a treat go inside this lovely little bar and feast your eyes on the delights inside. The lady, who I believe is the owner, is proud of her cakes, pastries...
