This place is a must on the way from Chiang Mai to Pai. The coffee was delicious, the setting was beautiful, and the owner was so kind and gracious. Can’t wait to come back!

We stopped here on the way to Pai from Chiang Mai and it was so good we made sure we stopped off again on the way back to Chiang Mai Airport. The food is exquisite, freshly cooked and is served either on the terrace of the restaurant or inside the restaurant building. I highly recommend: Tom yum kung, spring rolls, and yum talay. For drinks... try the iced coffee mocha or iced green tea. Lastly, I couldn’t resist a slice of their homemade chocolate fudge called ‘Devil’s Food Cake’ which is made by the owner’s sister... absolutely delicious!! After you’ve eaten, you can relax around the back of the building where there is a large pond and some seats in the shade. My girlfriend was with me and even though she is normally highly critical of the food in 90% of restaurants we visit, admitted that the food was amazing and nothing like she had ever tasted- even in Bangkok! If you are on the 1095 route to Pai or CM... please stop here and support these guys... you won’t regret it!!

Very nice atmosphere and view, they have a small lake near the house. The thai style coffee was really good.

I saw the sign- it said 16km to the Green Food Cafe - Okay....... What a treat. Coffee and food fantastic. I probably wouldnt have gone for the muffins etc as that kind of food for me needs to be made fresh each day - each to their own but honestly such a nice break in the drive to Pai and well worth the stop. Lovely people and good toilets. No expense spared on the coffee machine from Europe and the owner is trained in all aspects of coffee making. We also stopped on the way back from Pai. I enjoyed the club sandwich very much, together with the chocolate thickshake.

They have a roast room to prepare beans in house, very nice tasting coffee at good price. They also serve Thai and western food, very cheap prices, you can get curry and rice for 65 baht. Nice tranquil surroundings but close to the road so you can't miss it on 1095 road from Chaing Mai to Pai about 45 km from city.

Well worth a stop on the Chiang Mai - Pai road. Close to half way, they have good coffee and clean food. Clean toilets, and off road parking.

Great and lots of special coffees with a pleasant view. Very quiet. Friendly staff. Ideal stop when you're on your way to Pai: Just before starting to drive into the mountains.

Delicious food at reasonable prices and polite staff. Beautifully retro feel decorations, my partner (an electrician) extremely impressed with the wiring; actually being done to western standards. There is a little late in the back and both inside and outside seating options.

On the journey from Mae Hong Son we stopped short of Chiang Mai for a quick lunch at this very smart looking restaurant which serves mixed cuisines. It sits right next to natural surroundings and has a number of small secluded places next to the main building where you can find privacy. My companion had a Pad Thai which she described as average; I had the ham & cheese sandwich which I will say was very good. So I am going to say that it is well above average and give it a very good rating.

Khun Yut, is the owner of Green Cafe and he roast his own coffee in front of your eyes. You can go there to taste the different flavors of coffees around the World. If you ask him he will inform you about anything you want to know about coffee. The food is great as well and view is fantastic...I highly recommend to stop for a visit

Had the Pad Thai and Green Curry on the route from Chiang Mai to Pai. Really really good food here! Since i don't drink coffee, i took the smoothie. Also superb. This is a MUST VISIT when you pass by. Also a perfect first stop from Chiang Mai to Pai.
