We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Mork Fa Waterfall. It was such a nice atmosphere to spend a little rest time perusing the artist's workshop, or the fish ponds, or the animals. Coffee and food was good, but food service was slow. Still really happy to have found this place!

We find this spot on our way from Chiang Mai to Pai. We’d planned to stop for coffee and a light snack but we ended up ordering a chicken curry to share, coffees, and absolutely could not resist the desserts made in-house. The food was very tasty, the desserts—young coconut cake and matcha cake—were fresh and delicious. The dining terrace is shaded and overlooks beautifully landscaped grounds with roosters, pea hens, and sheep. We were offered a taste of mulberry jam made by the proprietor and ended up buying some to take with us. This was an unexpected and happy find.

Nice small cafe with bakery, there is an art gallery also which does some kind of classes. They have a sheep house with about a dozen sheep and some chickens you can feed for 20 baht. It's not a farm, they just have a sheep house and chickens. It's also not the first coffee shop on the road there are a few before this one, it's about 50 km outside the city. (Chaing Mai) Nice peaceful spot until the sheep see you bringing food, they get quite excited but are very friendly. Would be nice to take your kids if they haven't fed animals before. Baby lambs have not long been born and are very cute!!

This was the first coffee house on the road to Pai, (Hwy 1095). In addition to good food , baked goods, and coffee, there are peacocks, sheep, and a playgorund for kids.

At least foreigners and Thais pay the same price here unlike at the nearby Mork Fah waterfall. Be aware that if you do continue to the waterfall and if you are not Thai (even if you are accompanied by Thai friends) you will be discriminated against at the ticket box.

This stop was so random, so surprising and delicious that we went there on the way to Pai and on the way back to Chiang Mai. We can only speak for their chicken and fish sandwiches and they are amazing. Don't get me wrong, we love Thai food but after being in the country for awhile we wanted something a little different. Lucky for us on the road to Pai this amazing bakery, coffeeshop, and restaurant appears out of nowhere and is a great place to have a break and get something good to eat. But back to the sandwiches. They bake they're own buns on site and they are delicious. The chicken is crispy. The fish is tender. The french fries are nothing to write about. But those sandwiches. Yeah, we liked them a lot. They've also got other delicious baked goods to take on the road with you. Is it worth finding if you aren't going to Pai from Chiang Mai (or vice versa)? Probably not. Is it worth going to if you are craving a chicken or fish sandwich? Yes! I promise we aren't that obsessed about sandwiches.

It has been a little over a year since my wife and I last visited Pankled Coffee but we are happy to report that the food, coffee and ambiance are still great. If you are on route 1095 to Pai/MHS then be sure to take your break here.

Very nice place and surroundings ; good for kids to run & play. Very good quality food. Excellent bread. Staff is however lacking of professionalism and is incredibly extremely slow. We would normally give a 3 rating because of the service, if it would be in Chiang Mai but as the place is in the nature, we gave a 4 rating.

Kids were thrilled to feed the sheep and we had a nice time relaxing here and having some coffee and deserts. They made an ice cream sundae for the kids, which I didn't see on the menu. Bathrooms were a bit rough. Otherwise a pleasant gallery of a local artist and peacocks just wandering around. Also it is strawberry season, so, hey, fresh strawberries.

Set on a beautiful farm, Pankled makes for a perfect coffee break on the drive to Pai, about an hour from Chiang Mai. The coffee is locally sourced, the cookies homemade, and the prices very reasonable - all served with a smile.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Dining area is on a outdoor patio/deck overlooking the garden. Recent additions have been a small sheep herd, assorted birds that roam free and a art gallery. Well worth a stop.

Recommended. On the road to Pai, there's some interesting places to stop. This is one of them. Drive 11 miles along route 1095 from route 107 and you'll see this place on the left. You can't miss it, because you'll see the bright yellow barn with red trim at the intersection of 1095 and a rural road. There's a large parking lot out front and a building with a small coffee shop. A flock of sheep are prominent. Pay the operator a few baht, and you'll receive bottles of milk and feed for hand feeding of the lambs. They are adorable and a hoot! Plus, there's an Art Gallery on the premises. This is a relaxing and entertaining place to visit. As of the date of this review, route 1095 to Pai is under construction. You'll enjoy the rest and relaxation this stop provides. Directions: This place is about a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Chiang Mai. From there, drive route 107 north. Exit left toward Pai, and drive about 11 miles. You see this place on your left. See the map we have uploaded with this review for directions.

The Pankled Café is a peaceful place, even though it is right on the main road between Chiang Mai and Pai. There are lots of animals (fish, birds, chickens, sheep and a peacock) to watch while you wait for your food. The menu is very extensive and the food is delicious - from the spicy vermicelli salad with chicken, to the waffles and the truly heavenly banoffee pie with salted caramel. The bread and cakes are homemade here, by the way.
