Tres bien, súpergoed en lekker!!!! Very friendly staff, good suggestions, high quality fish and meat (Tournedos was superb!).
Location, decoration and atmosphere really nice as well.
Thanks a lot for making our evening!!!
Decided to visit based on other reviews and delighted that we did. Slightly more upmarket than most of the eateries in this lovely surf resort, but still got a very nice welcome when arriving with a 6 and 9 year-old. An English menu was provided...when it was obvious that my French was very limited, and the manager spoke excellent English. Food was great, not a huge menu but all good and interesting - a mix of French and Spanish. Can recommend the cod-stuffed peppers to start, the entrecôte, mussels with chorizo and tournedos. Kids set menu is grilled fish or ‘chicken burger’ (actually beautifully cooked chicken breast with a nice roll, au jus (or gravy where I come from!) and proper chips. Delicieux! Nice wines by the glass too. Attentive and friendly service, finished off with complimentary local digestif. Very good indeed.More
We visited this restaurant and were pleasant surprised by the nice food and friendly service. They have a delicious menu for childeren at a very good price of 10€. The food was fresh and homemade. We really recommend this restaurant when visiting Lacanau Ocean.
Went with our two you boys (who won't eat anything) but were pleasantly surprised by the patient and very helpful lady who served us (who I think may even have been the owner?). Kids menu only €10 and included drink, main and desert. Very good...quality food. We had a 3 course (€27) which was very tasty. Whole experience excellent so much we will be going back before we leave this year.More
Went to many restaurants in Lacanau but this is by far the best. Great friendly service. The food is beautiful and the desserts are to die for.
Couldn't fault it.
La tasca has a diverse menu that so many are lacking around the town.
If...you want more than mussels or a pizza then this is the place for you.More
We visited during the first week of July with our two children, under the age of 10, one is an adventurous eater and the other is not.
The first time we visited it was early in the evening and quite quiet, the second time, it...was very busy. On both occasions, the same lady served us and was equally friendly and efficient.
Over the two visits we sampled octopus salad, calamari and stuffed peppers from the tapas menu, gambas, sword fish, Côté de beouf and scallops from the main menu and the chicken burger from the kids menu. All were delicious, the swordfish the least good.
Lovely food in a very relaxed and friendly environment.More
