If you like "moules et frites" then Chez Leon is the place to go. The rest of the menu isn't too bad as well. Limited wine list

We came for dinner and really for mussels. There are plenty of choices on different way of cooking mussels! It's delicious and great. Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. It would be even better if restaurant would have provided wifi.

You need to like moules to eat here (although there are a few other things available) but as we love them, no problem! Plenty of moules with a good selection of sauces.

Very good food and served quickly. Excellent for family. Great play area. The service was efficient but not very friendly.

We had met people of a mid evening flight and knowing they would be hungry decided to eat before returning home. The Leon de Bruxelles is quite close to Bordeaux airport at Junction 14, and as the day before I had received a €20 discount voucher, we decided to eat there. The restaurant was two thirds full, but the restaurant... More

Great welcome then slow to take order due mainly to there being very few waiting staff; This seemed very poor for a busy lunch hour. The staff were doing their best and it wasn't their fault we had to wait and we were not alone, others were waiting for bills and to have tables cleared. I don't think they could... More

went to Leon's on Saturday 10th September. arrived about 7pm and we were greeted by a friendly waitress who sussed out pretty quick that we would need an English menu. Another waitress came to take our order and said straight up that 'I don't speak English' we replied no problem we don't speak French, but with good humour all round... More

Because of its place, where it is very close to the Pessac highway exit, coming and leaving is very easy! I like their classic mussel menu, especially with creamy mushrooms! Nice decoration, nice waitreses that can speak English! Large choice of food! You'll like this place if you didn't have an experience before! You can go with your family!

This is really a restaurant for mussel lovers. You can get any kind of dish with mussels and also mussels of different quality. You choose and pay accordingly. I could easily have eaten there every day of my week in Bordeaux. It was always filled. On friday and weekends you have to rserve a table or wait an hour or... More
