We came quite early (for French understanding) around 20.30 and the place was almost full but we had a reservation what is very wise to do. The food was excellent - especially the seafood plate - but the best there is the changing colors at the sunset. The only minus was the price of the parking - 10,00 € per... More

Good evening Sabina, thanks for the review, we appreciate it. We are pleased to read that you had a great time with us. However, we would like to remind everyone that our parking offer is not mandatory and that the price accounts for a secure, private parking lot right in front of the entrance. That being said, we hope we... More

Nice place to relax with pleasant finger food on the loungers and reasonable prices . Be aware that the lounger or the beds are not cheap. High season around 50€ per person and the loungers around 25€

Hi Alex, thanks a lot for the review. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your experience with us. You are right regarding your observation, our beds and loungers are not especially cheap. However, the prices are very similar to what the competition is offering. Besides, as you already know, our ideal location and high quality service make the... More

A decent place to lounge by the sea and spend a day eating, drinking and relaxing. Lunch was good with delicious food, including a fantastic array of seafood from the seafood table. The Vol au Vent of lamb and mushroom was the real highlight of the starters and I could have had it again. My main of Fillet Steak was... More

My partner booked us here for lunch after my arrival from London to Montpellier. We grabbed our double beach bed at around 10.30 and then had lunch a couple of hours later. We stayed till 5pm and oh what a lovely day. The service we received the moment we arrived was absolutely first rate, we were treated very well and... More

On a stretch of beach leading into La Grand Motte, France each spring there are a handful of pop-up restuarants. They go up in the spring and are completely dismantled in the early fall. We visited La Voile Bleue on their opening weekend in April- a colorful, serene, stylish, contemporary restaurant, a beautiful day and after a great meal (amazingly... More

This restaurant is at the beach with Mediterranean just in front. Large bar area with wide selection of cocktails, wine, some beer. Food is good with emphasis on local seafood given proximity to the sea.

For me paying £6 per day for a sunbed on the beach with clean toilets and drinks served to you was well worth it. The restaurant was always good, fresh food and the restaurant decor itself very stylish. Given that it is all wrapped in a marquee it is quite amazing. I think it is used as a dance club... More

We went to see the Montpellier vs Auxerre match on a wet Sunday evening and bought the cheapest bottle of white wine for 30€ - it wasn't great, so it took us ages to drink it - the management needs to review its pricing policy! La Voile Bleue is notorious for being the place to be seen.

I went here on the first open Saturday night of the season (mid-April) with a group of friends, a mix of British & French. Admittedly, the place looks pretty cool, and the welcome was nice. Additionally the service was very good, and we were impressed with our kind and sympathetic waiter. However, in the restaurant, the prices are ridiculously high... More

The view is fantastic. The cocktails are good. The starter was ok: bellotta ham with parmigianno. The main course a big deçeption: scallops from the freezer without any taste and the other dish 1 scallop, a tiny piece of overcooked St. Pierre and 3 cms of langoustine with risotto all serves on cold plates. The désert was very good.
