We went there because it was in the ame building as our hotel. It is ok but do not expect too much. It sure does not match the effect that they are trying to project. I have to say that the service was very good, the personel was very nice and gracious. But the menu is very short and kind... More

The dishes were quite inventive. We enjoyed our food. The vanilla flavour in the vegetables is an example of their inventive take on cuisine. They were really sweet with my 3 year old, which was nice.

Every course at this restaurant was full of flavours that complemented each other. The starter of salmon with a horseradish cream on crushed biscuit was delicious as was the main course of haddock meuniere. The vegetables that arrived with the main course were interesting with spices and herbs that perfectly blended with the entire plate. Desert trolley offered good choice.... More

Living in Aveyron one tends to find that restaurant food tends towards bland and a very traditional Aveyronaise Menu. This restaurant is such a refreshing change with no charcuterie, confits or cassoulets in sight. We chose from the 26 euros menu with an excellent choice from which we ate starters of smoked salmon with goats cheese and horseradish cheesecake and... More

This restaurant has a slightly unprepossessing exterior down a side street but once inside everything changes. The small dining room is pleasingly decorated with well spaced tables. There does seem to be another room possibly for group meals. Went with a friend and both took the 26.50 menu. There were three choices of entrées and plats. I had the eglefin... More

I was in the area auditing a local Roquefort manufacturer. I had been put up in a local hotel & taken out for a lovely meal. I was only disappointment that the three course lunch didn't allow me to appreciate the fine food here. We went for a main each & a light dessert to follow The main was a... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. It was absolutely outstanding. The service was excellent, and super friendly. The food is exceptional. My husband had wonderful scallop carpaccio, followed by perfect steak. I had the best spring rolls, followed by Oriental prawn noodles, that I've ever eaten in Europe, definitely worth a detour just for that. We passed... More

Nestled in a small street in the city center, the restaurant awaits you to discover an inventive and refined cuisine. Traditional cuisine and dishes from elsewhere share the card. And for the most demanding carriage pastries.

This was our second visit to Capion - and what a disappointment it was. Perhaps the chef had an off-day or has there been a change in management since last year? I ordered the 16 euro 'Express Menu'. Fast yes, but everything else was distinctly poor value in terms of taste and interest. The main course 'The Veal Blanquette', could... More

This lovely restaurant was recommended to us by the proprietors of our accommodation and we’re glad we took their advice, as we were treated to a gastronomic experience to remember. Surrounded by French clientèle in a spacious room with minimalist décor, the service at our table was friendly, prompt and efficient. Dishes are lovingly prepared by the chef using local... More
