Perfect location to sit outside and enjoy a great view of the port on the sunny side. Excellent service and nice but not great food and overpriced. Enjoyable lunch if you have the money to spend though! And I do mean cash money no credit cards taken here or in other Casssis restaurants which as a big tourist town sounds... More

For the prices of the fresh fish I had high expectations. The water spoke good English and basically implored us to eat the sea bass because of how well they prepare it. It was tasteless; as simple as that. Only saving grace was the service. Attentive and provided complimentary French fries and shots at the end of meal. Still I... More

One of many choices along the old port, we were attracted to its exclusively seafood menu. Food was good -- my rascasse was fabulous. But to say service was uneven is being kind. One of our party ordered a 3 course meal and when they brought his fish soup (course one) they brought 2 other main courses and left my... More

Yes, the food is nice. View is great. Waiters speak English. But come on, 21. Century, you get the bill and they tell you they accept just "chèques" (kind of French tradition still surviving the digital age) or cash..... They need to change that as they were few upset people around us

Service was little slower but it was a busy night so quite acceptable. Mussels were really tasty and the sauce was great. Chocolate tart is a must! Served warm with ice cream. Really delicious! White wine so nice too.

Yea, the location is super nice in the harbour and we should have known that it was a turist trap. We as many where first charmed by the english speaking head waiter. (He later turned out to be a very ugly caracter) The food and the ignorant service was very poor. All fish they served this night where all farmed... More

First off, the servers, all young men, did not want to allow me to sit where I requested. But it wasn't a big deal. What *was* a big deal is that my moules a la provencale were just mussels covered in jarred tomato sauce. Also, the soupe de poisson was so awful that we now have an inside joke about... More

We had the fish of the day for 2 people. The food was great and the staff was very helpful and professional. They recommended a great bottle of rose to go along with the food. However, I feel it was a bit overpriced, nevertheless we had a great time.

Stumbled across this lovely restaurant right beside the boats, great view, the waiters were lovely and the food was divine . I had the shrimp with pesto and it was one of the best meals I've ever had! The shrimp were huge and covered in a delicious pesto, oil and garlic sauce. I might have to drive the hour and... More

We learned that Poissonnerie Laurent was the best family restaurant in Cassis. Went there for dinner and loved it so much we came back for two nights in a row. You will not be disappointed. The fish is super fresh, cooked in old style and the owner is super nice. Great choice.
