Charming setting. The meal however was disappointing. The fish was undercooked & accompanied by a mini-sized flan, no carbohydrate or veg accompaniment and a lot of bare plate! The meat was also not cooked as ordered. The meals were served luke warm. Indeed, we could...have returned 3 of the 4 meals to the kitchen, but everyone was being polite , and didn’t wish to disrupt the evening. The head waiter was apologetic and at least the dog was however very happy with the meat remains & recommends highly this restaurant!More

The ambiance is really great! The food was unfortunately poor. The waiter seemed a bit frustrated and uninterested when we came in. The amuse was a cup with cabbage, fine but no real effort put in at all. This was probably because one of our...starters (a cold carrot ginger soup) was also used as the amuse (then served hot) for the other diners. This came across as amaturistic. The tuna tartar was not bad, but the taste was overpowered with fruits, not something I would expect from a chef. The lamb piece consisted mostly out of fat and tendons. The risotto had no real taste and was more like overcooked white rice. They also forgot the vegetables on one dish and there was a hair on the plate. The homemade bread was really good though. If you're expecting a good french dinner, you're going to have a bad time. But the setting is really beautiful.More

This hidden gem is worth your while! When you drive towards it, you may think your navigation is wrong as it is on a industrial area. But as soon as you arrive you will be surprised by the romantic scenary! And boy o boy lets...not start on the food <3. Every single dish was as the french would say: magnefique! Worth every penny!More

Most lovely almond croissant ever ❤️Really lovely bakery right on a roundabout with tables and a loo outside.. Busy but people were constantly driving up, jumping out and grabbing bread and cakes.. very handy as we did the same thing before our long drive back...to the UK at 8am!!More

Visited with a large group for our friends birthday - the place itself is beautiful, and the food was amazing. The staff were all really helpful and catered for all our needs - I totally recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something special.

Can't thank frerot enough for making my birthday celebration so special. Everything from the food to the entertainment ran like clockwork. To cater for such a large group cannot be easy but there were 29 happy and full people, the atmosphere wAs lovely and so...grateful for all of the quick responses and help prior to our arrival. They organised our Taxi's to and from, helped with questions and kids choices, vegetarian options etc etc The cake was such a surprise and completely delicious, my only complaint was that I forgot the name of the red wine we drank!! It was beautiful! If in sisteron it's a must visit, don't be put off by the industrial area once inside it's like a different world....More

Went in Le Segustero on our way to the South. It is situated few kilometers outside the center of Sisteron. Location seems a bit strange at first sight, but the restaurant itself if really very nice. Can also accommodate larger groups or party events, but...still has stylish intimate interior. We tried the menu, both fish and meat, both very well. Desert also delicious. Also very kind welcome and been served by 2 kind young ladies, obviously well qualified. Would certainly go back there when in the region.More

This restaurant was recommended by the hosts of our chambres d'hôtes and we had a very nice evening in the beautiful inner courtyard of this restaurant. The dinner was excellent, good quality and taste of the food, friendly service, only the dessert and invoice could...have come a bit faster. Definitely one of the best restaurants during our holiday in France!More

The restaurant has been open only a few months. It's a beautiful setting in an old farm close to Sisteron off the Route Napoleon. The food was really excellent and a good price. Service was good and staff friendly. There was a delay with our...meal yet the way that they dealt with it was fantastic. They did not stop to apologise and offered a suitable discount from the bill. Mistakes can be made but the way they managed to turn things around means that we left well fed and happy and shows a commercial awareness that is of often missing in France. Don't hesitate to go, the place is spotlessly clean and you won't regret it.More
