I've been fortunate enough to enjoy some excellent meals in the area but the meal I had this evening is beyond compare. From the mause bouche to the meal itself was one superb taste experience after another. The climax was the trilogy desert combination which was the best desert my son & I have ever enjoyed! At one point after... More

We have had several good meals here over the summer, and again in the autumn. The staff are unfailingly friendly, and really know their food and, even more important, their wines. The is a small menu, but everything is interesting, well presented and cooked. The atmosphere in an what is an architectural delight, is delightful.

We have been visiting this restaurant when we come to Provence since chef Philippe Zemour and Gaëlle have taken it over and transformed it into a wonderful, warm and friendly place to dine. The addition of Jean-François Sylvestre to the front of the house is a great plus. We enjoy both eating here and talking to Gaëlle and Jean-François. Both... More

This is quite possibly the best dining experience we have ever enjoyed as a couple. How could they continue to please us course after course? They could've stopped after our first course which was one large ravioli stuffed with small shrimp and cooked in a lemon broth with leeks. Intoxicating! Our second course was pork with champignons and a pumpkin... More

We came here once for dinner. My wife and I both had the 35 Euro menus. I picked the mushroom and whitbread soup for a starter, my wife the sea-food soup and the white fish main. came back the next day and swopped the choices. And the wine list had a choice of local wines at reasonable prices. A very... More

This is a wonderful restaurant. The service was perfect, the food beyond compare, in a nice setting. The duck was the best I've ever had, the starter was an interesting array of choices from the chef, the soup creative and very good, desert was French perfect. The wine list was reasonable and our 30E bottle recommended by the staff went... More

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay. The first was faultless, great value, interesting menu and charming serving waiter and maitre d'. It was so lovely we decided to return a few days later. The main fixed menu hadn't changed so we decided to go all out and have Menu Decouvert. My 'filet' was extremely fatty -something I wasn't... We were staying in Vaison and I had read the wonderful reviews on Bistro du'O so I definitely wanted to try it. My son and I went by the restaurant to see if we could get reservations for that evening. They were already booked for that whole weekend but she really worked hard to try to accommodate our family. Our... More

We have visited Vaison-la-Romaine multiple times and are thrilled to finally experience Bistro du'O. The professional front house staff provided pleasant and helpful guidance through the menu and the wine list. The food was exceptional and took us by surprise, as we were not expecting such a high quality and innovative meal from such a small and quiet place. We... More
