Planned to eat at another restaurant but passed Genepi and remembered having a good meal there. Welcomed by the owner who was as engaging as before. We didn't have a reservation but he found the 5 of us a table. It took a while to get all the cutlery organised and place our order but we got there. Starters arrived... More

I first came here in 2002 and have now returned for the third time. If is consistently my favorite French Savoyarde restaurant in ADH.

This is the worst resturant experience I've ever had. A group of us on a skiing holiday booked here for our night off from the chalet meals. What a disaster! Really slow service and no beer, with us walking out after over an hour waiting for food. Service was really poor and the owner is just like Basil Fawlty. Avoid... More

You couldn't make up the comedy of errors and total disarray. We were a group of 8 and we had pre-booked, so no real excuse not to be able to serve us. The whole party ordered either fondue or meat on hot stones. How long does it take to provide cold meat? They tried to placate us with more shots... More

Just to sum up the review before I even start.. this is the worse restaurant I have ever been to!! Whether you enjoy this restaurant or not depends on whether you have a sense of humour or not! The service is appalling, we arrived as a group of eleven who had pre-booked the day before, to be seated on a... More

Admittedly we were a very large party of 22 - however they did willingly accept the booking without asking us to have a set menu (which we would have totally accepted and indeed expected). From the start it was obvious that the owner/patron did not want us there - he was rude. We had to beg for menus, beg for... More

Horrible service. We waited for our menu for 3 hours and and gave up before we had the desert. Can't recommend this place to anyone! Stay away!

It all started with our reservation... Yes, it was booked but they didn't take down a name so we had to wait until they accepted it was us. Then the menu... It took at least 20 minutes to be given a menu (we tried to get the waiters' attention much earlier but to no avail). Given the delays and the... More

We went to lunch here on a non-skiing day (due to heavy snow). The meal was excellent and the host very welcoming. I will be going back next time I am in AdH.
