Arriving at the oldest part of Roussillon , is a spectacular walk through the historic bridge from the end of the sixteenth century that connects the two banks of the river Gargassa . At that time, the gateway to the city was right here , and entered the village from this gap by paying the toll. A few meters from the bridge is the oldest house in Roussillon that centuries ago it was a coaching inn where travelers stopped to change horses and refresh. Today, among the historic walls there is the Bridge Inn , characteristic restaurant where we follow in the footsteps of the travelers ideally once.
