Went there with my wife and some friends. Had been there before but just for a beer and a salad during the summer but this was the first time we had been there for dinner. Was seated quickly even though we didn't have a reservation and it was Saturday night (we got the last table available). We ordered the Funzel... More

Lovely schnitzel and shady outside seating (much appreciated on this hot day). They don't stop serving lunch right at 1400 either, which was also appreciated.

Quite a popular restaurant in the area with a good following. Wide range of menu selection of food and drinks. Service was a bit slow due to lunch volume of guests mostly dining al fresco due to nice inviting warm September weather. Food was good quality and fresh. Ordered a second pint of beer, but didn't get until the tail... More

Nice little spot on the square, great for people watching, good food, great beer. They have english menus which is a nice touch and handy. Food was good and plentiful. Beer was good as expected. Prices were reasonable.

This restaurant is located downtown on the edge of the pedestrian only area. The inside is entirely wood paneled in the style of the Alps. They even have an old Kachelofen (old wood fired stove made from stone and covered in ceramic tiles), which was used for heating in the old German and Austrian homes. This creates an interesting and... More

Enjoyed lunch here and sat at an outdoor table. Warning: you will have smokers out there! The food was delicious and high quality. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The waitress was friendly and the prices were reasonable. One of the best schnitzels in a long time. The salad was so enormous I did not need lunch!

Old building with character, nice restaurant. Solid food, a few traditional dishes on offer. Wine card could be better. Lacking regional wines. Staff could be a bit friendlier but all in all a solid place to go out dining.

Group of 20 people. Nice place with good food. Some traditional German, but you could choose other things from menu. Service was good, employees friendly and fast. If you are in the neighbourhood , I recommend this place
