Food was excellent… tempura style prawns were very good. But even better was the fillet steak… cooked exactly as requested ie rare-rare-medium! Could not be faulted. Commendations to the chef! I would say however that serving an expensive steak with just salad leaves is a bit underwhelming. Also, not everybody wants fries. Service was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Nice setting. Great wine. I hated the pendant light above the table, far too bright and gives off heat. These need to go. €€€

We were there for dinner on a Saturday eve. Place was packed so we decided to play it safe and take the recommendation of the waiter. Steak! Beef Tatar as a starter (told them to hold the sardines as this makes no sense what so ever and I really wish chefs everywhere would get this). It wasn’t great but also not bad. Steak for main course were great. File and a NY cut. Side dishes were rubbish but we were meat hungry and just left those. Wine and local beer (very very limited choice on this unfortunately) were ok-ish for their price. Service was ok. We got a junior guy who messed up timings but his senior well made up for things. We went there expecting a good slice of beef and got it. As such, expectations were met. Of course loads of room for improvement if they want a star to stick.

Tim Raue might be a good cook… but the food ans service in the Colette did not meet our expectations. We had booked a table and our waiter assigned us a table which was not to our liking. Absolutely no discussion… the table was assigned to us… no discussion tolerated. We where hungry and so we sat at our table. I ordered Artichokes for a starter… as it arrived, I was asked if I knew how to eat it??? I dare not say what would have happened if I said no. I also fin a tin with cutlery and napkins a no go in this type of restaurant. Even in French brassieres you have a set table with cloth napkins. The artichokes and the dips where ok. The beef tatar was ok. The main was a disappointment. Bland chicken in a not completely backed puff pastry garnished with field salad. The pulpo was ok, but small for a main dish. The cheese board was the best - but then you don’t have to cook, right. The chocolate cake was dry. It was our first and last time. There are far better restaurants in Constance.

It is listed as a Michelin recommended and that’s why we went there. (They like to have) This was a big mistake The Waitress was friendly but that was the extent of it. We ordered a set 4 Corse menu which had first course smoked salmon ,second a type of bread dumpling ,third some ravioli filled with rabbit liver and for dessert a small apple tart with salted vanilla ice cream The smoked salmon was standard, probably bought of the shelf? salmon came on a bed of hard lentils decorated with some salad, any Pub can do that. The bread dumpling had some melted cheese in it decorated with pickled onions The liver ravioli where ok but was nothing special The only highlight was the dessert We ordered a bottle of wine the waiter opened it but that was all ,we had to pour the wine ourselves. The whole thing has nothing to do with wanting to be a Michelin star restaurant. The ingredients were cheap and the cooking very average . That was a big disappointment. never again

An unforgettable experience! The price is absolutely justified if you can try food you or anybody else will not be able to produce in a lifetime. It was a culinary adventure tour that almost made it impossible to keep up the conversation with my partner as I wanted to concentrate on my food. I’m a vegan and was blown away by the creativity and novelty of the flavours and textures I was presented. Like the olive sorbet or field caviar that pops in your mouth! We had the table for the whole evening, took our time, had plenty of bread on the side, the waiter was attentive but down to earth and the wine packet was also a journey worth doing.

I am truly grateful to have enjoyed an exceptional dish at Colette by Tim Raue. Upon being greeted by the server and guided to my table I could not help notice the modern, interior design with warm, comforting décor. Usually I don’t take much time to choose my meal but this menu is extraordinary. After several of my questions being answered by just one efficient and honest server I made my choice. The langoustine pearl couscous <Rockefeller>, with green papaya and carrot ignited my palette to an erotic state and left me wanting more. Not only did your creation make me want to lick the plate; a few of my fingers were definitely licked. Colour and flavour in cuisine are key to my desire to revisit a restaurant therefore Colette will definitely see me again. My wish now is to dine at your 8 other restaurants and hopefully one day at your pop up in the Maldives. Congratulations to your success of placing in the top 50 world best restaurants.

In this restaurant, you have to eat silently!!! We were having a family get together. The whole atmosphere was ruined as the waitress came to complain that we are too loud. The waitress lied that people are complaining. When we asked who are complaining as the restaurant was almost empty and then asked them to move us to another table, the waitress told that she thinks we are too loud. We were just exchaning what has happened during the last half a year - but in this restaurant you need to be silent!!! Not recommended to anyone dining with family. Alone it might work.

Shared a three-course dinner last month during a trip to Berlin and I must say I was very disappointed. All the average restaurant artefacts were there: paper towels, no wine breathing (even though it was an expensive one), ok server's expertise on the dishes and wines available. I'd have expected WAY more! Tim Raue's name was not enough - sadly! I'll skip my turn next time...

Excellent food both a la carte and the menus and that includes a extraordinary vegan option are outstanding and balanced and unusual in the best sense. Great wine list. The service is friendly but was tonight (with one exception) not very attentive. I will go again…

The food was ok in most parts. One of the dishes too spicy and another too salty. The artichoke I had was quite good actually. Sadly the waiting times were very long and the waiters a bit sloppy. Not a terrible experience but not great either.

We booked a table for 5 for my husband's birthday and liked the location very much. I first of all have to mention the outstanding service at the Brasserie Colette. When we arrived the table was nicely set, also there was a personally written birthday card for my husband. The team at the Brasserie was awesome, especially Daniel and Dennis took fantastic care of all of our needs. The food was great (we had the vegan menu and a vegetarian dish) and we had a really great evening. We will definitely come back soon! Many thanks to everybody!

Stylish, comfortable restaurant. Friendly, attentive and helpful service. Very good meal (with, occasionally, modest portion size) from the limited menu. Good wine list. Best meal over our four days in Konstanz.

Just had the most amazing meal at this restaurant. If you come Konstanz this place is a must. Our waiter Daniel was attentive, knowledgeable and good fun. He explained every course in a way that you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. And the steak, what can I say but fabulous

Truly fabulous meal, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. “Fines de Claire” oysters best I’ve had anywhere in the world, shrimp marocain crusted with crushed nuts was just delicious, turbot perfect, and everything was fresh, beautifully prepared. Thrilled by the house sparkling wine (rose), Tom and colleagues charming and super efficient.
