What a find - interesting location close to the Seerhein a little bit out of the way but worth the trip.
Superfriendly, authentic staff that guided us through the evening. Apero, starter (Matjesforelle with beet root and fish soup) were excellent as were the main dishes - Zander with blood sausage, the more conservative prepared Saibling and the hecht were all exellent and paired with interesting side dishes.
The presentation of the dishes were artistic as well.
Finally, also the desert (cheese cake and ice cream) were excellent very tasty.
Overall, the Anglerstuben are highly recommended!

Have been to this restaurant to celebrate a family reunion/birthdays.
The service was superb and very helpful and friendly.
The menu was carefully selected and concise, which meant that we had confidence in each dish.
They recommended a very good local white wine, which we would have never come across otherwise.
The fish was fresh, and prepared in a unique way, in a delicious sauce/soup.
Desserts also did not disappoint, although the serving size there was a bit small.
We were very happy with picked this restaurant to celebrate and had a very good time.

While visiting Konstanz from Australia, a local friend took us to this restaurant. It was just lovely - the food was superb, the service was efficient and friendly and the atmosphere and view delightful. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area or just want to feel special!!

Anglerstuben is a popular Konstanz restaurant on the Rhine, not that easy to find if you walk from the city centre. It currently only offers two menus with each a choice of starter and main course.. The herring I had was good if a little under-seasoned; the Zander fillet with ratatouille (not the best possible side garnish for this fish) was properly cooked and fine, better than the Zander we had the day before in another restaurant. Large choice of local white wines..... service was a little on the slow side, and the restaurant seemed to be understaffed.

This was our 5th visit, and it was another remarkable culinary highlight paired with impeccable service.
There are places where you get culinary delights, pleasing your palate, there are places where you get exceptional customer service, and there are the few places where you get both. Enjoyable dinner. Unfortunately the menu gives you a choice of two starters, and two main dishes. They have a extensive wine list of local wines, with range of high prices. Service was a bit slow specially when all the tables were occupied. Overall a bit pricey for what is offered.

this place serves up THE best food in konstanz, period. there is only one catch: they have a daily menu, and you eat what's served that day - nothing else.
one dish.
it comes with soup and desert if you like, and it is unbelievably inexpensive (i avoid saying cheap, because this is by no means cheap food) it is excellent food at a bargain price. plus, they really have a beautiful setting, very stylish but not opulent at all. even with a terrace with great views of the rhine river. a must-try!

Location in the middle of the industrial area on the shore.

The restaurant comes across a bit unspectacular on arrival. A 70s Jahe building between marina and (ship) commercial area. So you can guess the origin of the now very understatement-like name.
