How is Dorfhaus Thalkirchdorf rated?

We had local food, surprisingly done and served (Bergkässchnitzel in Haselnussmantel mit Feigensenfsauce und kleinem Salat, 12.50€). The staff is friendly, the location well above our expectations for a Dorfhaus (village house). Especially in the evening making a timely reservation is recommended.

Simply good

Had two times dinner at this charming house. Service a bit rough but friendly after a while and the very acceptable. Good portions at a decent price with overall good quality. Enjoyed the asparagus salad and the zwiebel rostbraten, excellent piece of meat. The house...wines are also of a good quality. So overall enjoy the experience.More

Lunch in the countryside

A perfect Bavarian Inn situated in a small hamlet outside Oberstaufen . Sit inside or out, both pleasant and with excellent service. We had a spinach pasta and wild boar sausage for lunch, perfect. The small shop is excellent for cheese and other products.

Sehr Sehr gut !!!

Very good restaurant serving typical food from the wonderful Allgaü region. Summer or winter any time is good to visit it.

Favourite and busy place

The meals are lovely, prepared of fresh ingredients and are served quickly. We ordered 1x beef with green beans, fried onions and spätzle for 19,90€, 1x cheese spätzle with salad for 9,90€, 1x radler and 3x home lemonade. Paid 40€ altogether. The service is very...good as well. We liked the grocery shop inside of the house very much. Bought several types of local cheese, ham and farm eggs. Will be back! :-)More

Tasty food

The service was outstanding. The food is so delicious we had the melted chess it comes with fruit, steak and dessert. I would love to visit this restaurant again.

Very Nice Mountain Style Restaurant

In the middle of German countryside with lovevly landscapes, there's this beautiful gasthof...very stylish...warm...kind service...tastefull food...refined plates presentation...the dinner experience value the travel...

tasty regional kitchen

If you like cheese, you will feel in paradise... he Dorfhaus has its own cheese production, and most parts of the menue are somehow cheese oriented. If you need calories after a day of skiing, just order "kässpätzle", but don't forget the schnapps afterwards...

Cheese & more deluxe

Modern meets traditional bavarian charme,here a well balanced combination in near perfection.Food is very good,service outstanding and atmosphere relaxed. Next time i will take part in their well-known cheese-making courses in the Hotel even if it costs me half a day skiing! Not to miss...the "Dorfladen" beside the restaurant which sells their own products(cheeses,Molke,honey,bread,milk,...) and bavarian souvenirs. We'll be back next year.More
