We stopped here for lunch. The tea was unusually good and the cakes we large and good quality and choice. If you get the chance eat upstairs ( two sets of stairs) as the room is a lovely old tea room with a large fireplace that makes you think of an old English tea room. This alone makes it a... More

The lunch menu was limited which is ok at a cafe but the food was not good quality. The bratwurst was nothing special, the spaghetti was low in flavor, the tomato soup was chunky and didn't come with bread. And the service was terrible. The waitress was beyond rude, like very rude. And I spoke German. I would not recommend.

We were recommended to visit by our German friend who had to return to work. We decided to call here for cake and tea. There was a huge array of delicious looking cakes and the assistant (who spoke perfect English) could not have been more helpful. We chose our cakes and headed for a table. While we don't have more... More

After poor food in the hotel we were staying in, I needed good German food. We spotted this restaurant in the middle of the Christmas markets. They have an English menu, which helped! The food was excellent, plenty of it, attentive service also an brilliant choice of beers, some draught! Please give this restaurant a try, you won't be disappointed,... More

I just love this old fashion cafe. We went there before and every time we're going the food is great and the staff is super friendly. When you're in Goslar you should certainly try it!

Experience the dessert wonders of Silesia. The small tarts with fruit are very tasty. The streuselkuchen is somewhat dry, but they offer a very large variety of cakes to choose from. It is worth a trip.

Our group of four stopped in here for lunch. We ate over a wide spectrum-- salad, soup, schnitzel and sausages. Everything was very good and everyone was very happy. We didn't try any of the lovely baked goods and sweets in the display cases, but they certainly looked very good-- maybe next time.

As a result of previous reviews here on Trip Advisor we visited this café in Goslar. It´s like stepping back in time going through the front door. If you want nostalgia and food as you remember it was made 70 years ago this is the place. I ordered a salad with tuna and it came with tuna, ham, cheese and... More

If you sit downstairs, you don't even feel the place sits more than 300 people...the food's great and the prices are more than affordable. Friendly service, too!
