We ate at Restaurant Ente during our first trip to Germany. We couldn't wait to return. Great food and excellent service. Best restaurant in the entire area.

Nice small place. Can be very crowded so make a reservation. Food is good and Wine is excellent. Staff seems to be little stressed time to time and thus a bit on the rude side. But I still recommend to give it a try.

We were here on an average Thursday eve. A larger group of 20 kept the kitchen overly busy. I observed multiple people complaining about quality and temperature of food. Our steak ordered medium was below rare but on complaining the chef explained we were wrong. Other dishes were acceptable but nothing really good. Atmosphere was nice and service very friendly... The ambience is lovely with wood panelling and lots of items to discover. Seating is comfortable enough. The food is somewhere between good local stuff and pretentious. The soup was nearly too salty, to small a portion, but the main courses were decent. Nothing excels. The duck was quite dry, potatoes came with too many onions. Many wines are offered... More

I came to this restaurant with some friends following the recommendation of some locals. The place is very elegant and well suited for special ocations, the staff is also very professional. They don't have an extensive menu, which means that what they have, they really know how to cook it, which we indeed proved. I personally had an "original" Kalbsschnitzel... More

This Ente is quaint, personal and is a historical site in Biberach. The architecture is unique and cosy, yet the cuisine modern and well worth the price. In some places one will be paying for the yuppie modern spaces that attract the young crowd. This place has integrity, energy and intelligence which is missed in a lot of German dining... More

we were on business trip to Biberach and were desperate to find a place to eat after our first working day here. Luckily we got recommended this restaurant. When we got in we got really impressed with the customer service - very polite, attentive, nice and fast. We did feel we were looked after properly. Nearly everyone in our company... More

Whenever I visit Southern Germany, me and my family stay at the Ente. We stay in the tastefully, yet comfortable rooms and eat most of our meals at the Ente as well. Why? The service is personal and reflects Schwaebische hospitality, we are in the middle of town, the best Cafe is right across the street, we can walk everywhere... More

The ,,Ente" (The ,,Duck") - a beautiful historical building with a long tradition of hospitality. An insiders' tip in Biberach. In Biberachs historical district the building is hidden in one of the alleys just two minutes away from the market square. Right in front of the house there are a few parking spaces, further parking facilities - including those for buses - can be found nearby. As a small courtesy we will refund your parking fee. The cosy ambience of the restaurant both indoors and outside on the terrace invite you to stay and relax. Let us spoil you with culinary delights ranging from homemade Swabian delicacies to seasonal dishes and - during our speciality weeks - to venison, asparagus varieties, Italian cuisine and - if booked in advance - suckling pig. All dishes are also available as takeaways. Our dishes are freshly prepared by Headchef Benjamin Gebhart and his Team, the various fixed-price meals will nevertheless reach your table in a very short time. In case you should be in a hurry. For connoisseurs of wines we're well stocked with regional and international wines that will please your palate and form an excellent addition to a delicious dinner or a rustic local evening meal. Our restaurant seats up to 60 people, of which 25 can wine and dine in the Rommerstube, which is especially suitable for family occasions and small functions. Another 60 seats can be found in our beer garden. We are looking forward to your visit.
