We came to have a drink, but we saw the menu and wanted to try the chicken-strips. It was delicious and the staff was very friendly. So we decided to come back the same day for dinner, as our hotel was nearby. The dinner was...as expected perfect, such a great thai-food you don't get everywhere. Good job everyone and keep continuing the great service. Perfect food, nice atmosphere and delicisous food!More

We had a lovely dinner in the old section of this restaurant. Helpful staff, that spoke English. Great traditional food. Close enough to the train station to navigate without driving.

My husband and I had been traveling for over a month in Europe. We booked this hotel for few days for the wine region tour. The dinner we had here was by far the best in over a month. When we travel, we always look...for local/regional cuisine. This restaurant serves fresh and quality food. I had pork medallions and my hubby had fish only because they were out of their famous local dish. The sauce for both of our dishes were delicious and we cleaned our plates. We let our hostess select our wine and it too, was great. This meal would stay in my memory for a long time - I even took pictures of my meal. The service at this establishment is five stars - the restaurant was closed for one night of our stay and they recommended another local restaurant to us. Highly recommend for meals and stay.More

We ate at the restaurant the first night we got into Oberwesel. The room is elegantly appointed and very welcoming. Dinner was fabulous, with friendly, efficient service and a great value. Breakfast for the hotel guests is included, with wonderful breads, cheeses, meats, and a...soft-boiled egg at each plate.More

We visited one lunchtime while spending a day in Loreley. The restaurant is traditional for this area and the hotel it's within is around 500 years old. We were greeted by a polite , friendly couple who showed to a table . Once seated they...chatted to our German friend and took a drink order. We were given menus and any question we had was answered in a friendly manner. While serving we had brief conversation about why we were in the area and a bit of general information about the village. Food arrived shortly and it was delicious. It was fresh , hot and we'll presented. We chose not to have wine with lunch and opted for draught beer instead. We cleared our plates and glasses. I would recommend this restaurant and would had liked to return for dinner but we ran out of time. It's a lovely place , peaceful and like stepping back in time . Good to get away from the modern world for a bit of culture.More
