I decided to take a weekend for myself and visit an Easter Market in Schwerzinger. I had lunch here and it was fabulous from the wine to the strudel. They brew their own beer here too. The staff was very courteous and friendly. It was just what I needed.

Nice food, good service, GREAT beer. Feel like coming back. Menu is mostly German-based, but covers any taste, including vegetarians.

This is a nice place with very good bier. We had the radish platter with a pretzel for an appetizer; delicious but I am a big radish fan and they spiral cut theirs thin. Cool and refreshing. I had the sampler platter and the liver dumpling was the highlight. The wurst was good not great. My gf had the pretzel... More

We were happy to be here while it was still "Spargelsaison" or asparagus season (the last day actually). They had a lot of interesting asparagus dished including an asparagus flat bread style pizza. I got the saumagen (literally, pig's stomach), a local dish that has a mixture of meat and potatoes stuffed like a bologna, and then sliced and fried.... More

I find it is generally hard to find bad German food when in the Heidelberg area in particular. But the environment and spatzel very good here. Also, the restaurant is large and can accommodate large parties in a very inviting environment. Be sure to try their local beers made on site. Well worth the trip a few minutes from old... More

We went here as a team for a traditional Beer Haus experience. Food, service, and drinks all very good! Nice atmosphere in Hall, with upgraded feel of fireplace, etc.

The atmosphere inside was warm and friendly. The beer is brewed on site on an ongoing basis and was excellent. The food was tasty. The restaurant from the outside is very picturesque and is in the heart of the city. A visit to the Schloss Schwetzingen should also be added to your itinerary.

4 of us had a pleasant beer here then walked around this lovely square to check out the competition,we decided Brauhaus looked like the best option. A good call. After a long day at he Hockenhiem track we had big appetites, lucky as we needed them. I had a huge portion of local pork steak cooked traditionally, very tasty,a friend's... More

We initially went to another restaurant. Sadly, the 2 waitresses at the other restaurant talked with each other and completely ignored me. I stood a full 2 minutes waiting for them to acknowledge my presence. Then I gave up. Tips are expected in Germany so shouldn't service staff provide a bit of customer service? Anyway, it was a blessing because... More
