Second night dinner during business trip

During business trip had dinner 2nd night at this restaurant. Good service and good food. Bistro bill can be paid via the hotel (Strandhotel Duenen) and reservation also via hotel desk. Good atmosphere in this bistro and quite busy at times.

Great service, avoid the steak...

You can walk in and sit anywhere. No need to wait for staff to seat you. There is a large TV playing soccer, so if you like sports, aim for that. I ordered steak, medium. I got a rare and was very chewy. Felt like they threw a frozen steak on the grill and never checked the temperature. If I knew German, I would have sent it back The service was excellent though. I've had their burger two years ago. if I have to come back here I might try that again. It is pretty decent from what I remember.

We have been going to Cuxhaven for many years and also go to the Kamps Bistro. We can no longer recommend it. The burger was small and dry, a wilted lettuce leaf was drowning in ketchup and mayo. No tasty homemade burger sauce. The fries were cold and tasted of nothing. It's better at the well-known fast food restaurant. Many other things are fried. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. This was our last visit there. It's a real shame, because the food there was very good to begin with.

It was Bugertag and so we had ordered burgers. It took over an hour for the food to arrive. The burgers were burned down and totally dry. Taste a smooth 6. In addition, the restaurant was not exactly clean and the assigned table klebrig. After we had told the service our shortcomings came only the answer that they have a lot to do. No excuses. My girlfriend and I ate here and she likes it. She ordered steak and mine is grilled chicken. Steak is good. They also have good german beers. Staff is okay. Food served quickly. Recommented for couples and family.

Solid quality and good service

I have spent several evenings on the Bistro restaurant. I have to say that compared to the options available around, the Bistro is probably the best place to go. When the weather is good you get a nice place outside. If you stay inside the vibe is also good. The food is well prepared, fresh and the value for money is fairly good. Its not the top cuisine but since there is good variety you normally find something according to your mood.

Strange burger, great fries.

I ordered the Kamp burger for dinner with wedge fries. This was the strangest burger I ever had. It was a messy burger. The texture was strange as if the meat was pressed too hard, there was too much of the mayo-ketchup mixture. Nevertheless, it was a tasty burger indeed.

Great Place To Eat

Had lunch with my wife we both had the steak burgers, which were very good. The staff were attentive but not intrusive all in all a very pleasant lunch.

After we had ordered as a family and my wife had previously asked if the soup was spicy, as it must not eat spicy (stomach), and the waitress had said the soup is not spicy, the soup then came with small chili pods. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not justified. The burger meat is of poor quality and unfortunately not homemade. It's a shame that none of us liked it and it was literally sickening.
