We ate here twice on our week ski holiday to Avoriaz area. Fantastic setting, literally above the clouds. Service was good and food was lovely although pricey as you would expect for a ski area in the Swiss Alps! Worth it for a treat. We had Salmon, Burgers, Chicken Salad, Goats cheese salad, mac and cheese, all great. Only complaint... More

Restaurants on the slopes and mountain peaks can be drab affairs. Not this one (this is about the second floor restaurant with the Terrasse and great views, not the bistro downstairs). The food is excellent quality with a changing 'Plat du jour' every day. We went there for lunch on several subsequent days simply ordering the Plat du jour without... More

Good pleace to havé à drink or a coffee before taking the cable car to Champery. For a nicer view and good local wine go to "Chez Coquoz" 1/4 of a mile downhill.

Good food and good service. They made a dairy-free version of the bread-with-a-floating-egg-inside dish with coconut milk and safran or something. Nice dish presentation.

Having thought a restaurant at the top of the Champery telecabine might not be memorable a friend recommended me to visit. I was not disappointed. I am a fan of Le Toupin and the food was every bit as good and the views even better. The restaurant is quite large but the service was very efficient. Good local food and... More

Great view from the terrace. Try the 'croute' a variation of the croque monsieur in a hot pot. Or the Fondue... A bit expensive but what is not expensive in the Swiss Alps. Service is ok and staff is helpful.

We visited here twice during our ski holiday. The first visit was slightly better than the second, with the soup being tasty and the ice cream being nice (although portions were not overly generous). The second visit wasn't so good as the soup arrived luke warm and was average to poor. My husband had salad on both occasions and said... More

I liked the look of the place when I took the lift and decided to try it. There is a restaurant upstairs where I lunched and there is a cafe below for snacks. Both menus on offer are quite small in my opinion but maybe this is their way to ensure quality. The snacks menu was too snacky and the... More

Excellent, best food on the slopes, quiet, fast service, polite service, right at the top of the chair lift. Here with 5 skiers, we can recommend the cheeseburgers like no other I've ever tasted, also omelette jambon fromage etc salads, delicious. Good coffee. Table service with a welcome smile, good clean toilets, handy for the chair lift and top of... More

Had lunch at the restaurant - ideal location and fantastic view (mountains and view on Champéry from the other side). Great terrace to have a break between 2 slopes: you can have a drink and/or eat outside when the weather is sunny. Great food ("typical" skiing resort food but also a good "dish of the day"), service may be a... More
