We dropped in twice last week with friends who live in Zurich - they know and love this place... it's a regular for locals (and a few celebrities..) and rightly so... great food, drink and service in a lovely sun trap. Shame it's not better connected by cable cars but hire a skidoo or walk if you have the energy...

We reserved for lunch during our ski break. The place has a beautiful terrace; so perfect for lunch on a sunny day (which we had!) - but even on cloudy days the interior of the place is very nice. Service was super - very friendly staff all around. And last but not least good food! We'll surely come back on... More

We stopped there on a nice sunny day. Super service, excellent food and what a lovely place to enjoy the sun! The only disadvantage is that to go there is not a nice skiing run. But overall the atmosphere, the food and the service clearly made up for it.

The menu has ALL you can ask for in a slope, the wines are exquisite and staff has ALWAYS been great. A ski-pass in Klosters is not complete without a visit here

Alte Schwendi is an old favorite and great even when you have to take the shuttle because run 24 is closed. If you have never been try the Schwendi Rösti.

Lovely mountain house with a very old tradition. The place is located perfectly, at the end of a long dowhill run. And it serves traditional Swiss dishes and drinks. They actually are very proud of their heritage and have the history of the place and the traditional kitchen on a menu. There is a great terrace and lots of locals... More

The food and experience are best on the mountain. Delicious, authentic swiss mountain cuisine. Make a reservation and enjoy.

Visited February 27. Got 4 seats at table 41 at 12:50 for lunch. Note that about 60% of the tables are reserved and free seating is very limited. We waited for about 15' before a waitress decided to show up. Luckily we took initiative to source some menus from a table nearby - there were none at our table -... More

Alte Conterser Schwendi is about Family atmosphere. Serves you the Best "Rusty" in the mountain and the gluewine is "tipTop" as they say! Had the most fun getting there through some nice offpiste conditions. Great access to ski lifts. Recommended!!!

Lovely mountain restaurant in the wonderful ski area towards Klosters. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. Today I had the burger and was very happy with it! Can also recommend the salmon wrap. Simply delicious! Don't miss the home made fruit cake.

Thank Bernhard K
