We have a great fondness for this place as it is the first place we stayed at in the area in 1982! There are different owners now of course and they do a super job of providing freshly prepared food and their own homemade ice creams. They are also open every day of the year! We have visited many times over... More

I ate there twice, once for tea and their special homemade ice cream which was so delicious with a variety of flavors you would not expect. Then for lunch which was so gracefully presented and beyond flavorful. yes, if compared to home it was a little expensive, but it was well worth it as the food, atmosphere and service were... More

We had a great dinner here. This was the only restaurant that we ate at that gave us an amuse bouche. It was a wonderful cauliflower soup. Our entrees were also delicious. We all had the chicken. The hostess who was also our server was gracious and efficient. This restaurant was a little bit of a drive from The Cambrian... More

Beautiful location in the Gilbach valley above Adelboden. Reachable by skis, on foot or by Post Bus. Share a plate of Hobelkase - alpine cheese - with the homemade tomato soup.

Not in the village. Need a car in the evening.( One stays sober). Good kitchen. We prefer des Alpes for a break on a sunny hiking day. ( any time of the year). Good Ice creams and good coffees. You never wait long.

My husband and I were staying at the Cambrian in Adelboden for a few nights. The Cambrian restaurant was very expensive, about 49 for a main. We tried some restaurants in the village but quickly grew tired of the food there. We were recommended to this restaurant by some hikers who we bumped into on the sky rail who were... More

Being Vegetarian, we had very few options in the menu. So we chose to eat their spaghetti ! I must say it was excellent. I would recommend even people eating Non Veg to try out their pesto garlic spaghetti. It was definately one of a kind. I loved the place, service and ofcourse food.

A really friendly chilled out restaurant and bar. Really child friendly, with a children's play area and even lots of teddy bears in the nappy changing unit! The staff are lovely and the bar is full of both locals and season staff, a great place to socialise. The food is yummy with lovely fresh salad starters, awesome Rosti's and they... More

The food is not as good as at the Cambrian and they do seem to like sauces for the main courses. However it all tasted good, the service was very good and the starters really enjoyable especially the smoked fish
