This was some of the best pizza we have ever eaten. The owner was the only one working the night we went, but he was very friendly and provided great service.

We had been here once several years ago, and I remembered it being okay. we went back for New Year's Dinner (only place we could get a reservation for 9 ppl) and the service was awful (as in, did not know what they were doing and messed things up), we were seated in the pizza parlor instead of the restaurant... I love La Piazza! they are smack dab in the middle of mountain village. The Italian food is delicious! Chicken Marsala is my favorite! and the Chicken salad with sweet peppers sooo good! In winter its cozy and warm and smells like parmisan and in the summer you can sit in the plazza outside while the gondola cruises over your... More

We've stopped here before for a drink and thought we would go back again for dinner. We were not sure what to expect especially since the menu posted on line was not correct. We were pleasantly surprised ...great dishes, awesome wait staff. I had veal ravioli in an awesome sauce. My hubby had ravioli stuffed with crab/asparagus in a pink... More

We came in from skiing and the temperature was below 10 degrees. We were warmly greeted put in front of a fire and served the most amazing foccaicia bread! This was followed by their mushroom soup or lobster ravioli both of were delicious. Our service couldn't have been more attentive. I think this restaurant is wonderful!

Soon after leaving Italy 20 years ago I learnt to avoid Italian restaurant in the USA. I cannot take fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs (neither one would ever be offered in Italy), chicken "milanesa" (what is that), or anything else that Americans expect to find in an Italian restaurant. I was therefore very skeptical of La Piazza, but my parents,... More

Our family recently returned from Christmas and New Years in Telluride. Originally we had been booked in Cortina d'ampezzo but due to poor snow we switched last minute and couldn't have been more pleased. We are an Italian/Romanian family and very particular about food since we cook in our own home and split time between the States and Italy. When... More

The restaurant was so close to the Madeline Hotel. Service was great as well as the wine selection. The food was amazing. We went with our 2 kids who loved the home made pasta so much that they asked for a second serving. Their home made gelato was wonderful. Would definitely go back.
