We recently visited "la cofradía de pescadores". They are very kind and have a very fresh fish. You can see the daily fish before eating and they cook it after your choice. The price is very adequate and they have also local wines mainly from Lanzarote. White wines are the best, specially the dry one. I warmly recommend the place!

We arrived on the Saturday, and it was packed with locals, always a good sign, in their broken English and our appalling Spamish, we managed to find that we would have to wait, the wait was worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant the food is divine, but only if you are into seafood, they do have the odd meat... More

Had Sunday lunch here.. Very much a locals meeting point but we were welcomed by management .. This is very much a fresh fish restaurant with only 4 meat dishes on the menu... If it's fresh fish you want this is the place.. Prices v reasonable, clean, with good service

A superb restaurant my second visit and not disappointed. Menu in several languages to help visitors. Fresh fish shown to you to choose. Highly recommended.

Delicious fresh locally sourced fish. Take your pick from a plate of recent catch and enjoy it deliciously prepared with canarian potatoes. Yum!

Third holiday to GT and previously we have always been very impressed with this place and able to forgive the slow service. On this occasion they only had one type of fish to offer us (fish is supposed to be their specialty and they are attached to a fish market!!) and the service was incredibly slow. Had to ask several... More

We had a table right next to the bar so it was really hot. we ordered garlic prawns and baby squid. the squid didnt turn up. the prawns were not that great. we'd been in victors in playitas and had beautiful garlic prawns in olive oil. So expectations were high. here they were overcooked in cheap flavourless vegetable oil. slow... More

We had dinner here whilst staying in Gran Tarajal. The restaurant is a little detached from the main promenade situated beside the port buildings. It doesn't look like much from the outside. However, there is a great choice of fish available from the menu, most of which can be fried or grilled. We had the fish platter & it was... More

#1 ranking on TA brought us to this restaurant. Fish was good but not exceptional. Same can be said about the service. Sympathetic place though. Would give it another try.

Very disappointed. The food quality was good but the service is worst I have seen so far. We kindly asked the waitress to give us extra piece of lemon for our fish; she said she will give it in a moment and walked away. I had to ask her 3 times and still did not get it. Later on when... More
