The quality of food that Salvatore's has consistently served over the past two decades is without equal in Canada. To have the privilege of tasting this homecooked Italian goodness in a small town setting outside of Europe is priceless. They use fresh ingredients to make...their pasta, sauces, and bread in the restaurant itself, something unheard of in today's fastfood market. The Italian-born owners work hard to forge relationships with their loyal customers and treat everyone like a valued guest. In addition to traditional dishes, they make the effort to accommodate celiacs, vegetarians, and vegans. How could you ask for a better dining experience?More

It is just like my mother used to make. We have tried most everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Generous servings, perfectly done pasta, mouth-savory flavours, fresh sauces - together make a memorable meal shared by family. We have tried the angel...hair pasta, spaghettini, fettuccini, vela pasta, linguini and the meat ravioli in various sauces - garlic and oil, alfredo, rosa and Bolognese. If you order "mistas", the dish comes with house salad (light oil and wine vinegar dressing on the side), bruschetta, garlic bread and bread sticks. Unfortunately the family style restaurant is no longer open due to Covid social distancing restrictions, but it is easy to order from the take-out menu or for curbside pick-up. This is a time we don't mind having reheated leftovers the next day.More

Hands down the best Italian around! The food is delicious, authentic and always made perfectly. The vella rosa and green beans are my personal fave.

We ordered takeout for our anniversary dinner and everything was packaged wonderfully. The meal was fantastic! Bruschetta, salad, Vela Rosa, angel hair, lasagna, chicken, beans - absolutely delicious! Missed being at the restaurant but definitely the next best thing!

Excellent! Highly Recommend!! My husband and I found this place by accident and we were so happy we did! They don’t have a menu per se, but will suggest options if you have dietary restrictions or preferences. However, The best and most popular option is...to say ‘Feed Me’! Then you will get whatever goodness the chef gives you! All meals start with Focaccia Bread, then a salad, then yummy bruschetta and garlic toast. Then the main course comes! We had Angel Hair Pasta in their Garlic Oil Sauce, Ravioli in a Red Meat Sauce, Chicken with a wonderful tomato sauce (can’t remember what it was called) and Veal. All was awesome! Tiramisu for dessert was perfect after such a large meal :-)More

We found the meal to be average, best part was the salad and bread. I had the house red wine which was good and my wife had coffee. We did not have dessert so no review for that part of the meal.

I just held a wedding lunch for 20 guests at Salvatore's. As a frazzled bride, I failed to confirm the reservation and details as I had promised. And yet we all arrived, unannounced, to the most gracious, welcoming and hospitable hosts you could possibly imagine....It was as if it had been planned to the smallest detail. The food - which included delicious warm bread and housemade oil, a lovely salad, gorgeous garlic bread and bruscetta, simply magnificent homemade pasta that reminds me of the pasta I have had in Genoa, and glorious chicken with green beans - was truly beyond my hopes and expectations. It was the warm and wonderful service that really made the day special for us. I cannot recommend this restaurant (also you can buy pasta and sauce to take home!) highly enough to do it justice. We look forward to many anniversary dinners at Salvatore's in the years to come. A million thanks. NadaMore

If you go home hungry from this spot it's not because they didn't serve enough food. We were a group of 12 and the food was served family style. There were lots of portions for everyone. 2 people in the group did not eat pasta...and they were accommodated with an appropriate dish. When you enter they aroma immediately starts you thinking how hungry you are. The fresh home made pasta was my favourite dish closely followed by the veal and chicken with their amazing sauces. Fixed price and just like sitting around an Italian supper at home. The white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was terrific. No menu. They seat 32 at a time so I would recommend a reservation. Plenty of parking on both sides of the building. Staff friendly and helpful. There was a lineup to get in when we left.More

we came for dinner and our server brought over lots of bread to start and checked to see that no one had an allergy. She brought several dishes of pasta, fish and pork dishes and huge salads to start. we were very full and had...to bring leftovers home. It is a fixed price and the restaurant is quaint but no ambience or atmoshere of an Italien restaurant. Our server, Carol, did an excellent job. the wine was excellent too. The restaurant is quite cosey because of its size but you really come for the great food!More

It’s like a visit to Nona’s house. Everything is made in the kitchen right there. The pasta incredibly great and the sauces are wonderful. Go for supper. The meats and vegetables, bread and wine coupled with pasta made earlier that day makes for an authentic...Italian meal. You will go back.... guaranteedMore

Fantastic food fantastic staff. HUGE meal. What we hadxwould have been enough for 4 people. The cannelloni was so stuffed and the best I've had. The totiloni was creamy and oh so very yummy. To full for dessert but the cappuccino reminded me of little...Italy in NY. Highly recommend.More
