Hospitality was 100% from the time we arrived to the time we left the restaurant. They called a taxi to pick us up at the restaurant and return us back to the boat.
We enjoyed the lamb and grilled chicken with french fries. Both items were hot off the grill and tasted delicious. The figs covered in semi sweet chocolate was an unexpected treat after dinner. This dinner is worth the short commute from the water and would eat here tomorrow night if stayed another evening.

Very nice konoba,with great atmosphere,good service,and tasty food.
We oedered the meat peka,after we asked if it possible to coock it with out pork.
The chef came to our table and updated us that he prepared the dish with out pork😊

All in all, a very good restaurant to eat at on Korcula. We were there in a larger group and ordered Zrnovski Makaruni with beef and Hobotnica salads as starters. The pasta and the meat, a type of goulash, were exactly my taste and the meat was really tender. Everyone was also very happy with the Hobotnica salad. The main courses were mostly grilled meat dishes with grilled vegetables, chips, etc., which were all perfectly prepared and tasted impeccable. For dessert, some people at the table had pancakes, which are always delicious, anywhere. Our waiter even spoke good German (which is not the norm on Korcula) and was very attentive to us. It was probably because the restaurant was very busy that it got a bit hectic towards the end, but it speaks for the restaurant when it is very busy. I can recommend the restaurant and would go there again anytime.

The service you don't expect in high season. We booked this Konoba well in advance which is very renowned on the island, we arrive and discover before sitting at the table that they do not accept credit cards.... I expected a worthy treatment for a place that attracts many tourists from everywhere in August. My rating isn't bad because I didn't even sit down to order, but I was very disappointed!

Hallo my dear Italian friend . Yes you did made reservation long before and there where you made it it is noticed that we dont take credit cards, also on the entrance big letters sed NO CREDIT CARDS , also in restorant on wall NO CREDIT CARDS also on every mage on the menu sed NO CREDIT CARDS . When you came i told you to sit but you and your wife sed no no we dont have cash we want to COME TOMOROW . I sed np and we made the RESERVATION FOR TOMOROW . And tomorow DID YOU COME ????? No the table was empty all night waiting for you but you didnt come , instead of that sou make this teriblle rewiew to harm me and my business and that is not nice from you . This is my restorant and here are my rules like your roules on your work or in your house and i respect them like you have to respect MY RULES. But no you lay in my face , you reserve a table , you didnt cime and then write this things.
Shame on you it is nit nice at all it is bether to delete it and that is that .

We had a reservation for octopus under the bell for two and were really excited about it because of good reviews. Unfortunately, it was not prepared well in terms of flavor and it was rather cold. We couldn’t eat that so we did say that to the waiter who politely told us to choose something else. The service was good ( we got homemade rakia which was tasty ). Unfortunately, the second dish with seafood pasta was really disappointing, you couldn’t tell if it was meat or seafood. What was good is red wine, salad and shrimps. We offer to pay at the end which was denied, because they did their best but couldn’t satisfy us. Far enough.

Dobro jutro Sanja i pozdrav gosp. Sliškoviću. Neznam sto da vam odgovorim, peku od hobe sam sinoc činio za 12 osoba i kada je vama išla na stol dobili su je jos dva para, išli smo do njih rekli su da je fantastična tako da stvarno neznam vjerovatno ste u pravu i za vas nije to to. Makaruni s plodovima mora sastoju hobotnicu mušulu kozice sipe i lignje , eto neznam opet nije valjalo 😢 . Što cu ja iz ove kože se nemože bar su kozice vino i salata valjale . Da rekao sam konobaru ništa ne naplacuj kada ie tako tako je . Dogodi se žao mi je jbg eto ako odlučite opet svratiti možemo probat s mesnom večerom što drugo da vam kažem . Sve u svemu hvala na rewiewu jer kada sam krenuo hobu raditi u 15 sati ja nestavljam ništa začina u nju jer je morska i često se pretjera a bolje je da gost dodaje začine po svojim okusima a makaruni s plodovima mora , ne nema mesa u njima al sada cu odraditi sastanak s kuhinjom da vidim u čemu je problem . Came with family (2 adults and daughter 9 yrs.), from the strat it was disappointing. First the service noticed us after 20 minutes. We ordered plate "a la belin", and none of the plate was as described as in the menu. Than ordered two pieces of fish and portion of "local speciality Zernovski makaruni", lattter were awful, not cooked and raw. Also ordered (as addition) double portion of veggies on grill, which we paid 14 euro, and we got as you can see on photo. In short terms, don't waste your money here. It's fast food konoba.

SHAME ON YOU!! What is your plan here ??? First you dont know how to say dobar dan, second where is the photo of thosse makaroni ? Also why did you take photo of the food when you start to eat it ? When we came 10 times on the table why didnt you sed please put ramstek back on fire like normal guest ? Why do you lay about our prices ? Why dont you write that i didnt charge you for 3-4 things ? Why didnt you write that i came and apolagise about new waiter ? Why didnt you write about your friends? 20 minuts ??????? Why didnt you write that you frineds where late 20 minuts not me ? Doubleface pepole i dont like them also pepole who think they have gun on there mobile ?

We spent two weeks in Croatia and this was one of the best dinners we had. We were on a hunt for peka and Konoba Belin definitely delivered. The food was excellent and a great value for the amount of food - we couldn't finish it even with some very big eaters! The service was top notch as well and we loved that the location was a little further from town and the main tourist spots. If we are ever back in Korcula, we will definitely be visiting again!

Whether the food here is so great as it is said in other reviews, I guess we'll never find out since we weren't given a chance to try it thanks to an extremely degrading experience we had. We booked a table for seven people at 6 p.m., but over the phone we agreed to leave at 7.30p.m. as they were fully booked. When we arrived, one of the waiters "welcomed" us with a sarcastic comment about being 6-7 mins late, which was pretty arrogant, but ok. The place was completely empty as they have only just opened, we were seated at a table for 7 as we agreed before. However, in 5 mins they said it wasn't our table and asked us to move, which we did, again ok. The table they wanted us to sit at next was set for six and much smaller than "regular" tables, the worst part was that it was right next to barbecue, so we were in for about 90 mins of boiling, it must have been at least 35-40C° at this table. We complained it was too small for 7 people + too hot, but nobody seemed to care at all. I don't know if the owner was there or not, however, if he/she ever bothers to read any reviews, pls have a serious conversation with your staff and teach them how to address and treat guests with respect. The waiters made us feel as we were second-rate guests, is it because we're Croatian? Shame on them, as they couldn't even apologize while we were leaving, just stood by and stared. Sure, they phoned us in 10 mins asking us to come back, but we wouldn't go back for a free meal, let alone to pay a penny after such disrespectful treatment. Honestly, we've travelled all around Croatia and Europe and never felt more degraded than at this place. If you are fully booked, just say so, don't humiliate your guests in this way. You simply can't have a cake and eat it too😉.

Pozdrav gospođo Ivana i cijeloj obitelji Andrić. Ja cu pisati na Hrvatski . Dakle svaka priča ima dvije strane pa je red da ja objavim i moju s obzirom na vaš rewiew a izvinjavam se jer nisam mogao prije jer sam od 6 u restoranu i sada idem opet kada cam osgovorim do 2 sata iza ponoca . Dakle gospodin je zvao u utorak oko 12 sati ( imam i broj ) da zeli rezervirati stol za bas sto sam mu ja rekao da mote al jedino od ŠEST do SEDAM IPO jer nam grupa tada dolazi . On je rekao da nema oroblema da dolazite u ŠEST i da cete biti gotovi do SEDAM IPO ako mi brzo izbacimo hranu . Ja sam taj da cijeli dan bio u restoranu i kada sam vidio da vas nema u šest sari oosljepodne otisao sam se tusirati , i rekao sam konobarima ako slucajno dođete da vas ipak stave na kameni stol kraj rostilja i dodaju jedan mali stol jer taj stol dolazi malo kasnije . Vi ste sošli u šest i deset znači kasnili ste prebačeni ste na kameni stol dobili menije sve je bilo ok dok gospodin nije došao i počeo vikati i mahati rukama da sw dignete da neće on tu sjedit da sto je ovo its itd . Konobar je rekao da ce donit jos jedan stol mali i dodat na sto je on rekao nema sanse idemo ća i otisli ste . Ja sam vas onda nazvao izvinio se tri puta i rekao da se vratite na sto ste vi tri puta ponovili doviđenja i poklopili mi slušalicu . E sad vi mislite da ja lažem , al gledajte ja sam se tuširao i uletila mi je ćer u kuću koja radi u kuhinji 20 gosina sva u strahu govori tata tata hodi dole jedan gost maše rukama mene je strah , dok sam ja se sredio vi ste otišli . Drugorazredni gosti jer ste Hrvati ?? Ajde molim vas oa primio sam vas jer ste Splićani naši dalmatinci domaći . E sad da vam nešto rečem . Ustajem u šest legnem u dva navecer imam 4 djece zenu koje nevidim po 180 dana ljeti dajem cilog sebe da gosti budu zadovoljni a vi umjesto da smo sve rijesili onaj dan (; jer ste morali doc u šest a ruku na srce kasnili ste a nama puno deset minuta znači .) vi nakon moga poziva i izvinjavamja uzmete mobitel u tuke i ovo napisete i to je ko neko oružje ? Ajmo pokopat Belina jer mi nismo htjeli sjest na stol koji nam je on našao ? Pa moje djete je doslo doma jer je netko vikao kuhar je izasao vani isto zasto to niste napisali ? Zasto niste napisali da bam je konobar rekao da ce dodat stol ? Da vruce je kraj rostilja istina pa ok necemo ostati zao nam je , i nama isto i tjt a ne pisat knjige o Belinu da je ovakav i akav . Ako zelite broj od moje ćeri Sare posaljite u inbox i saljem il od kuhara nije problem . I hvala vam kjeoa sve pet al daj napisite sve istinito nemojte ovako . Dobili ste menu sjeli ste ave je bilo ok gospodin je dosao sve se okrenulo naopako i normalno ja san kriv niko drugi ni on ni vi sto ste kasnili ni on sto je dosao poslje vas niko niko nego ja ja ja . Evo ja se ispričavam jos jednom na svemu , al isto smo sve ko normalni kjudo i Hrvati mogli rijesit u konobi a ne ovako online . Ugodan boravak na Korčuli pozdrav ciloj familiji Andrić i znate gdje sam ako cete opet svratit pa da probate našu hranu možda je stvarno ok .

This is our second review of this restaurant as we dined there on two occasions. The restaurant captures the essence of Korcula life - casual, family run restaurant where no airs and graces are required. What is obligatory is that you enjoy your evening, including food, atmosphere and service which is exactly what we did. We ordered a mixed meat peka for our second visit and it was exceptionally delicious. The meat was so tender and flavoursome and the potatoes and eggplant accompanying it were so moreish. It costs a little more to have this dish but it is an experience not to be missed. Top marks for Konoba Belin.

We were so lucky to even get a table because we had called to reserve too late. The nice man who answered our call told us apologetically that he only had a table by the BBQ area at around 5pm, but when we arrived, we were seated at a table comfortably a distant from the fire and smoke.
The service was excellent from the first moment we arrived until the time we left. All the positive vibes amongst the staff despite the busyness of the taverna really made this place a very special place to be for a relaxing meal.
We ordered meat, grilled vegetables, salad and a bottle of local wine. They were all beyond delicious and very well presented. We can highly recommend this wonderful taverna to others, but make sure you call to book a table, because most likely than not, they will be fully booked, and you will miss out on a meal that you will never forget! I have attached some photos to accompany this review.

As part of a tour group we visited this place and received a very warm and friendly welcome from our host Frank, offering us complimentary rakia and fresh figs on arrival. Food is traditional and rustic - I liked it but many of the group were unimpressed. Specialities seem to be beef with macaroni (like a ragu) followed by Peka with lamb, pork and chicken cooked slowly and with potatoes and vegetable. I only tried lamb but it was succulent (like a kleftiko). Potatoes cooked in the meat juices were delicious. Worth a visit for the experience of an authentic Croatian village style dinner.

Excellent place for a true Dalmatian food experience. We had dinner there two out of the three days we spent in Korcula island. The first day we had the grilled fish of the day, it was outstanding. For the second day we had the peka octopus (you have to pre-order the day before), and it was absolutely delicious. Only one minor suggestion for improvement, the olive oil available at the table was not great. There is excellent extra virgin olive oil in Croatia. As for service, it was also excellent. We got free apetizers (breaded zuchini) and free raki to start the meal. Also on the first day they were so gratious to offer free desert (typical sweets) free of charge. Definitely a place not to miss if you are in Korcula. Thank you Konoba Belil for the great experience!!

Prawns pasta tasted like overcooked pasta in ketchup sauce
The prawns were small and hardly could be defined as such
The beef steak was good but the entire dinner failed to be decent! The place is very noisy, some drunk people made the atmosphere unbearable

I told you that you will wait the table and then the problem start becouse you sit in front of the garage . Say hallo to your lovely husband and dog, it was nice to meat you . I talk to you and you sed all is super and now this . Why do you do this i dont know but all good.
On the end i give you drinks on the house and desert but you didnt say that mayby you forgot it . Also when first table was free as i told you we move you as you want on the tarace . And if it was to noise you could go back in front of the garage

The staff and owner were so kind and accommodating for us since we did not have reservations, and they still found a way to not only make room for us, but also take the time to visit with us and make sure we had a great experience. We ordered the macaroni dish that’s famous for the region, and they ended up serving us a double portion to make sure we each had plenty. We also ordered the beefsteak (which for us Americans is basically a filet mignon) that was probably 12 oz. Great food, great service.

We have been in Croatia for 5 nights now. We ate meals in Split, Korenica, and here on Korcula. This was our best meal. Both the food and the service were amazing! In addtion to the delicious food, we were provided with liquor to start our meal, a glass of house wine, and delicious fried noodles with the fig dessert that we purchased. We were not charged for anything brought to our table that we didn't order, unlike the other restaurants we ate at so far in Croatia.
This establishment not only creates amazing food, we had the steak as an entree, but cares about their guests' experience. On the menu it actually says, if you don't like the food you don't have to pay for it. I doubt very many people take Kona Belin up on that offer.
Overall, we felt our meal was a delicious value, and will eat here again before we leave the Island. We highly recommend.
